  • Some scale advice! If you get to where you are weighing everyday and get frustrated when it goes up and down, put it away and weigh in only once a week or two. Your weight WILL fluctuate and it is one of those things that if taken too seriously, will make you feel defeated! We have daily and weekly fluctuations from…
  • I hate it too! I have found several core workouts on excercise TV. Hopefully you have that with cable...if not, there are some free ones online...just google(google is my friend). Enjoy !
  • My favorites are oatmeal, greek yogurt, and homemade egg burritos. All are higher in protein and lower in sugar.
  • depends on what you want to work! No More Trouble Zones is more muscle pain..lol! Banish Fat Boost Metabolism will take your breath away from getting the heart moving! and I don't know about Six Week Six Pack. I love the other two though.
  • I have to admit...I've been looking through the thread you mentioned...and am one of the scared to convert! If anyone would like to look through my diary and give suggestions to move towards that goal or if I should be doing anything. I am 5'3 and between 122 and 124 lbs depending on the day. I cannot get to a gym ...nor…
  • Oatmeal! Love my oatmeal and cheerios! Oatmeal is fairly low on the calorie count and can be adapted just about any way you want! My fave is a few spoons of pumpkin swirled in with a couple of teaspoons of brown sugar or maple syrup. Very few boxed cereals actually stick with me.
  • This still doesn't tell us much. I am 5'3 and 120...which is in the healthy range...So if you are taller, you may be already very thin looking. If you are this short or smaller, you are still okay to lose a few without being considered under weight. 125 is a very nice weight unless you are really short. But once again,…
  • Your journey is amazing! You can see yourself glowing more and more!
  • I am a pretty generic cook, so I just rub the fish with a little olive oil or butter, sprinkle on seasoning of choice(minced garlic is mine), can cover the fish with some fresh lemon slices and bake,or just give a squeeze of juice after its baked. I cook everything at 350 degrees until the fish is opaque. Foodnetwork.com…
  • I always enjoy lemon juice and garlic. Or Tony Chacheres seasoning mix for a cajun flavor....then steam or bake.
  • I love the stubble..especially when "ya know" ! It makes him feel all the more manly to me!
  • Check out your heart rate on a normal walk...I had a heart rate of 120 just strolling through a mall when I was 21.(checked at one of those blood pressure machines. Two weeks later at walmart...same thing. Two months later had surgery for an aneurism. It could be just your normal thing, or could be something you should…
  • Thank you very much for the post! Lengthy and worth it!
  • Foodnetwork.com They have some amazing recipes and you will find that a lot are fairly healthy. :flowerforyou:
  • Yup...eat some more! You are young and will screw up your metabolism maintaining such low rates. If you do it just once in awhile, not such a big deal. Eat big on weekends or something...Just keep a minimal 1200. Doctors normally don't suggest any lower than that unless for very short women. Requesting advice from people…
  • Goodwill, Walmart, Old Navy, KMart...any of these stores are great and inexpensive. (especially when they are on clearance.) I have yet to pay over 5 bucks for any of my workout clothes, well except for sports bras.
  • Had Curried Chicken and Chickpea Stew...found it in an All You magazine. Not one child said yuck! Success!
  • Roasted Sweet potatoes with a bit of cayenne pepper. Yummy!
  • I prefer my Taebo and Jillian Michaels videos(No More Trouble Zones is my fave and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism gets the heart pumping ridiculously).
  • I just fell in love with the southwest chicken salad grilled! It has a glaze and doesn't need the extra salad dressing. Its sooooooo yummy.
  • Well you are correct in knowing that 1300 cals does not equal 1 lb or even 2.4 lbs so we know that some of that gain was water retention from the sodium in the pizza. Now, calories in and out (and healthier choices) will make a difference in actual weight. So since you already are at 1200 cals, my suggestion would be to…
  • AjBeans has it right! You started it and gave 100%! That is not a fail, and look at your already positive attitude, you are gonna try it again and go farther each time! Congrats on doing Jillian Michaels Videos...she brings results everytime whether its inches lost, weight lost, or increased stamina and strength. When you…
  • No dreams about weight loss ....but you did an amazing job of analyzing your own dream! No dream expert here, but you definitely workout you own feelings in them, and the ability to recognize the meanings is really cool!
  • OP-you just gotta choose to do it, soups are an easy way to get them in, and the above post was wonderful! I just started attemping clean eating and appreciate these sites as well. They really give creative recipes for veggies!
  • I made Pumpkin with Ham soup ...and it was delish. There are some recipes on Cooks.com. I kind of winged mine, sauteed onion and garlic in a little bit of butter(or evoo) poured in 1 box of chicken stock, 1 cup of pumpkin, and chunks of ham! It was simple and really good. Can adapt it fairly easily with seasonings.
  • You just started my cravings...thanks a lot..lol! This recipe looks great!
  • Welcome to the site!! I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids, married, and working on the last few pounds. I joined this site in February and it has truly helped me be more disciplined about excercise and food intake.
  • From warm up to cool down , they are about 55 minutes each. To the O.P. I love Jillians videos, and love that you found a rotation made by Jillian herself. BFBM is far more challenging for me with the way it shoots the heart rate up and NMTZ is great for the different muscle groups. I see HUGE benefit in rotating all of…
  • Great workout! I have always used two's and feel it and have been doing it for months a couple of times a week. It is suggested to do three pound weights I believe...and am about to bump up to that soon. This is my fave Jillian workout!
  • The only big issue with eating them back is if MFP or something else is causing inaccurate counts of either meal calories or calories burned. You may want to try eating most instead of all of them back. I eat mine back almost daily since joining this site and lost 16 lbs since Feb. (had a couple of plateaus in there which…
