  • Let me edit to say that if you already eat a variety besides that 1 little ol' hard boiled egg..you are just fine..lol..should have added that first.
  • Protein is great for you...I eat eggs quite a bit. But, its not necessarily what you are eating , as it is more of what you aren't eating. Your body needs a variety of nutrients and sticking to the same things over and over will deprive your body of what it needs. I cringe when I see people eating the same things day in…
  • Okay..I am going to be the odd one...I love my husbands thighs and calves......he's pretty great!(in many ways)
  • Hi...I too am sorry that your relationship is having an "insecurity" situation right now. You have been doing great working on your health and she is worrying about it(speaking from experience) While the ideal situation would be for her to come out of her insecurity and be supportive, the reality is, its hard to be happy…
  • Let me say...Your body is rockin'! You have amazing muscle definition in those arms..and if that is just a glimpse of the rest of you..then you may have trouble with that much muscle. The only thing is maybe your diet which I know nothing about. I think you can definitely hit 130 . I am guessing you mostly strength train…
  • I prefer to call it...engaging my core! he he he..and Yes..I do it for all of the already listed reasons.
  • I love black beans and just bought them dry...can you suggest us the best way to prepare them??? And to the OP...I just post mine as the label reads since we aren't really "rinsing" out the salt.
  • I just hit my Goodwill the other day for four pair of shorts for 12 bucks...basic styles and didn't have to pay much while still losing a few more lbs.

  • Raisin Bran...and adding flax seed to stuff. Coming from someone who doesn't eat tons of fruits and veggies.(working on that though)
  • You should eat the daily allowances that MFP suggests for you. Eating less than that will leave your body needing fuel and can slow metabolism over LONG periods of time...When I stayed under calorie goals..my weight loss slowed and stopped. When I stayed at goal or minimally above...I continued to lose. It also depends on…
  • Curvalicious!!!! Looking great!
  • You are amazing! Thank you for sharing your experience in a way that allowed us to emotionally connect with you! It was incredibly inspirational. I am looking forward to a 10 mile run in November...I guess a half marathon will be next!
  • I agree with the moms that say take her in the bathroom with ya , awake or not, in her seat, fussy or not...she will get used to the schedule that you put her on. And her crying will diminish as she learns the routine. Catering to her fussiness will make you a very tired mommy and your baby an insecure child for not…
  • I notice mine just after the second mile and again after about a fourth..if I run longer than that! If not experiencing it, are you breathing properly? through the nose?
  • No HRM....I am set for a half pound a week loss, eat back my most of my excercise calories if not all and have managed to lose 15 lbs since Feb. 1 with MFP(lost 20 before that and had a 2 month plateau). The last few weeks I have logged everything as MFP says, eating back most of my excercise cals Monday through Friday,…
  • Beautiful job! Amazing results and good work by adding in the cardio with it!
  • Looking good sweetheart!
  • Don't give up...there are too many factors involved, water retention, muscle building, etc. It will come off if you are eating right and expending more calories than you are eating! You can do this! Meanwhile, get a measuring tape and start checking if you are losing inches instead! I bet your thighs and backside are…
  • 30 Day rocks! I've heard Ripped in 30 is just a little tougher! My personal suggestion would be to start with the Shred! Jillian will give you great results no matter which one you use. Make sure you measure yourself, because you will most likely lose inches vs. the lbs!(That's what happens to most people) If you have time…
  • I am an egg burrito kinda girl! scramble egg with black beans, place on a small tortilla warmed for 10 seconds in the microwave, top with salsa, cheese, roll and eat!
  • This is the most awesome idea I have ever seen!
  • Yep, Taebo is in the data base. I love it, great workout!
  • Have a cupcake! The issue is in not doing something about it! Trade it for something else...if you give yourself a daily snack...make it the cupcake...or if you think you will over shoot your calorie goal...take a walk or excercise in another way to work it off! It is all about choices. Life should be fully enjoyed so we…
  • Oh my gosh! That was so cute! I would so scrapbook that quote by a picture of him! Encourage him to keep saying that stuff for his future wife! LOL.
  • LOL...I almost choked! Thanks that was sweet and funny!
  • Awesome !!! I think it takes a while to become addicted to excercise LOL! Kudos on doing it anyway ...the feeling afterwards is always great! It sounds like it made your dog feel great too!
  • They are different... but you can by them at most supermarkets. I bought my steel cut oats at Aldi's. I love Peanut Butter in mine. I've also added canned pumpkin, sweetened with a little brown sugar, and added pumpkin pie spice...MMMMMMM!

  • Great work! Your waist line is trimming up really nicely!
  • I don't know how many calories you normally consume but a ton of people say to eat more when on a plateau especially if you are eating a low calorie count on a regular basis! I have had 3 plateaus and each one ended after a weekend of cruddy eating! Just sayin'!
