I had a hard time adjusting as well, but try adding a heap of veggies to a carb-based meal. For example, you can make a delicious stir fry with a ton of fresh veggies on a small bed of pasta, rice noodles, or even better--spaghetti sqash! I would buy carrots that are cut into crinkle style chips, those are great in hummus. I also like thinly sliced red bell pepper.

many people on mfp, facebook and even instagram have tried to get me to buy shakeology. the cost of that shake is what i pay for an entire month of groceries. i'm so sick of people on these sites trying to sell me it. i remove them as soon as i see anything about this crap

Check out pinterest for great raw food recipes. Doesn't have to be boring! If you are looking for protein, Garden of Life offers a raw protein powder (vegan). I have it in Vanilla and it's not bad. You might want to check that out, you can add it to fruit/veggie smoothies

I would suggest starting with walking. Walk for 45mins-1hr a day and your fitness levels with start to improve so you can do more types of exercise. Also, a little weight lifting would not hurt but walking is my suggestion

Bump, because I make a cold-brew coffee protein smoothie that I add half a frozen banana too which adds carbs, which I am trying to lower my intake of! I'd love to get an answer on this as well
