Weigh-In Numero Uno::: SW (for this challenge): 182.4 CW: 180.8 not quite 2 pounds but I'll take it :)

I'm always so into what I'm doing at the gym I rarely pay attention to the people around me. Who cares either way? I feel like if someone good looking wants to walk around shirtless, it's more inspiration for everyone else to get in shape.

I'm totally in, I have no problem exercising but I have problems staying under my calories. I like to push myself to lose two pounds a week so I'm going to try for 8 pounds. SW (as of this morning) 182 GW (as of 10/31/11) 174

When I started Shred I only did Shred and nothing else for the first week or so because my muscles were so exhausted haha. But my weight consistently went down

the more you move the less it hurts! I know how you feel the first is the worst! props to you for taking the initiative to get out there. keep on going, down the road you'll be happy that you did.

I love this website! If you use it, it really helps, and the support is great. Add me if you like and good luck with everything, you can do it.
-
This also sounds really good! I'd probably do chicken instead of beans (not a fan) but I love all the things that you can do with greek yogurt and all the recipes coming out with it lately
-
Those all sound delicious! thanks for the post!

i agree with this if you take it one step at a time it all seems easier to achieve and instead of looking at how much more you have to go, you have mini-celebrations for yourself and your progress. Congrats on the baby and good luck with everything. this site is great for motivation. feel free to add.

I never thought about that, but I have noticed that when I lean back in a chair and arch my back I feel skinnier, it always makes me feel good to do that, and since I've started on here there's a noticeable difference so now it feels even better

The other post was good....maybe it was deleted because the title was "people are stupid"? Haha, but I agree =) [/quote] hahaha people are stupid? that's great! I completely agree with this, wish I could've seen the other

mine probably isn't as bad as some others cramping-wise but it's usually 7-8 days long and I've found that working out shortens it to 4-5 which is always nice, and then I don't feel guilty for not doing anything for a week straight. plus i'm one of those people that eats when I do nothing so not allowing myself to sit on…

600 hundred calories does seem like a lot for that. But you know your own body and as long as you don't overeat to make up for calories you didn't burn then I'd say you'll be fine with either one. I have to do that sometimes, lower my time to get an amt I think is correct, because I don't have a heart rate monitor that…

I can't imagine what it's like trying to do this and deal with a hectic at home life as well. For me I'm finding it hard to concentrate on school and being healthy. But I've been going for a good month now and I feel great. It's hard to be motivated because it is a lot of work. But if you give up you'll fall right back…

DANCING! so guess that includes music too. I've been caught so many times dancing down sidewalks or someone will peek in while I'm dancing at work. I even did the Mrs. Doubtfire vacuum dance the other day. Love it and won't give it up which is good because it burns calories like crazy
-
looking good! it's a good feeling when you can finally see a difference somewhere. it always happens in my face first too then my shoulders
-
you look great! inspiring! :)
-
I agree! You look great! What have you been doing??
-
I definitely agree that it is about confidence. My problem is when I'm not in a relationship and I'm myself guys are attracted to me but once I'm in the relationship is when I start to have the self esteem problems. Why does he like me so much? He's too good for me.. blah blah blah. I've just realized that part of the…

wow that's great! thank you

That's a good idea! I love the laughing cow cheese wedges, they're good with almost anything. I've put them in pasta makes like a creamy sauce when it melts and on crackers too. I just wanna kiss the person who came up with them!

I hate that, I like to go into the cycle room and there are maybe 25 bikes in there, I started out being the only one and a girl came in a got on the one right next to me. I mean really? you have 24 others to choose from Also, I think it's funny when the girls get on the cycles and go super fast with determined looks on…

I stay away from processed foods, foods high in fat, and instead of white rice, bread, or white pasta I try to eat the wheat versions of everything if possible. Then I just make sure I don't go over in caloric intake, which is hard to do when you exercise every day
-
I'm in! great idea! They say it takes 22 days to create a habit, I'd like to get into the habit of not eating it ever, because Taco Bell... is my downfall!
-
Thank you!

So it slows your metabolism? What's the point of working out and burning calories if you just eat them again?
