We use an ab mat in our gym.

Go Cougs! I am the exact opposite of you. Love to lift, hate cardio. One of my employees is a runner. I think she is crazy, she thinks I am crazy. But we both do a little bit of the other because it is good for us. What is it about lifting that you don't like? PS - I would consider 30 Day Shred, P90X and some Crossfit…

I think it really depends on your fitness goals and your motivation. I did all sorts of different things before I tried Crossfit. I even had a trainer for a couple years (and that is more expensive). My main struggles were consistency and pushing myself hard enough. The community aspect of Crossfit has solved both of those…

We have a mobility class on Thursday, so I try to make that my rest day. I have been known to hike, bike or just be a slug. Depends on how wore out I am and how many times I am going. When I started 3 days a week wrecked me, and I didn't do much more than walk on my off days.

My gym is moving to a new bigger building so in honor of the last work out in our old space Couch came up with this: Menage a trois 21-15-9 reps of: thruster at 95/65 lb pull-up Then: rest for 2 min Then: 21-15-9 reps of: power clean at 135/95 lb ring dip Then: rest for 2 min Then: 150 reps of wall ball at 20/14 lb 10…

My Box has an Unloaded class that is probably similar. It is only 45 minutes. The workouts are posted here. http://crossfitpostfalls.com/

We did 10 days of Summer today, similar idea. It is amazing how fast it gets brutal. "10 Days of Summer" 1 rep of thruster at 135/95 lb 2 reps of front squat at 135/95 lb 3 reps of push press at 135/95 lb 4 reps of power clean at 135/95 lb 5 reps of deadlift at 135/95 lb 6 reps of pull-up 7 reps of kettlebell sumo deadlift…

Yes, love it! There is a group called CrossFit Love you should checkout.

Our box has a two week on ramp. It is mostly learning Oly lifts, proper technique, with some short AMRAPs at the end. It is has really two purposes. 1) Teaching proper form and the Oly lifts. 2) It allows the coaches to assess your baseline fitness, so they can help you scale properly once you start regular classes.

I have a somewhat similar situation because my husband does not need to lose weight. And I have few suggestions that have worked for me. 1. Cook a nutritious main dish and eat a much smaller portion with lots of veggies. For example, I love this…

I laughed way too hard at this, and then had to try to explain it... [/URL]

I just started this week and I would love some friends on here that CrossFit.

That is crazy talk! There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and drinking coffee while enjoying whatever lovely scenery you have hiked into. Try Starbucks Via or I have a coffee cup that is a french press.

Winter is my favorite time of the year and the time I am in the best shape. I start hitting the gym really hard in Aug/Sept just to get in shape for riding season. My suggestion is find a winter sport.

Suck it up, and someday you won't have to suck it in.

I am very average. But I am friendly, confident and really just get along well with men. One time when I was dressed up in Vegas I had a Texan offer to buy me a ranch (cleavage might have had something to do with it) and in Montana a guy offered to buy me a small town. LOL. So, I would say it is the whole package.

I lift for ice cream... does that work?
-
Two-stroke smoke Also, I am a sucker for guys that smell like orange hand cleaner and grease.

I just hit the big 4-0 last month.... so I guess I'm a cool kid now :drinker:

Not to be anti-coolwhip, but fat free coolwhip is 15 calories per 2 TBS. So a half cup of coolwhip is 60 calories. Dryers slow churned vanilla ice cream is 100 calories for a half cup. I just eat the Ice Cream.

Everybody has their own definition of healthy, but this is one of my favorites http://www.ambitiouskitchen.com/2012/06/skillet-chicken-with-spicy-pepperoni-sauce/ I make it with my homemade Mariana sauce and turkey pepperoni and it fits very nicely in my Macros. It is simple and delicious! Another favorite of mine is -…

I broke my ankle in April. Luckily, no surgery was needed and only one more week in the boot. I am working really hard on not gaining weight due to inactivity!

I just broke the ankle on my "good" leg - problem solved!

I blew out my MCL, PCL and ACL a couple years ago. Stationary bike was the best. Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything more boring. Once, the risk of falling and re-injuring is past you can move to outdoor cycling.

Winter is my favorite season. We are finally getting some good snow in the Northwest and I am over the moon happy. Over the hood champagne powder last Sunday

A buddy of mine demo'd a pair of video goggles (snowmobiling) and they actually worked pretty good, but they were made for skiers and didn't fit very well in the helmet. One nice thing about them was they fit under the helmet visor. But I would suggest either the GoPro or the Contour (that's the helmet cam I have) as they…

I jeep, hunt, snowmobile, but hate fishing. :)
