Sometimes I do. But I use that feeling as motivation to go hard the next day. Things happen, **** comes up, you're gonna miss a workout every now and then. The key is to just miss a workout, not to give up on working out.

I was worried before I started going but I don't anymore. I bring my music, put on my headphones, and tune out everyone else. I don't even talk to anyone there. I go in, sweat like hell, and then leave. Don't be worried about other people, focus on yourself :)

I agree with others, walking is the best thing. Best of luck, Joanna

I workout at a Planet Fitness, and for the most part I see everyone taking it easy on the treadmills and not "going all out" in a sense. I'm not a big gym goer and tend to feel uncomfortable, but I've had a positive experience at Planet Fitness! Best of luck, Joanna

I believe you need to have the black card to use it at any planet fitness. I signed up with them about a month ago and was trying to decide between the $20/month vs. $10/month. I was told that with the $10/month you can only use it at the gym, but with the Black card you can go unlimited times plus bring a guest unlimited…

If you're late it will get you there faster, LOVE THAT :)

I just recently joined a gym as well, Planet Fitness, this is the beginning of week 3. I do strength training (machines) for about 40 mins and then cardio the last 20 mins. I alternate my strength training between arms and legs each day but always do cardio. I'm still a newbie myself so sorry if this explanation blows. But…

I do 10, 8, 6! Increase weight!

I work full time, M-F 8-5pm. I workout in the mornings at my gym. Alarm goes off at 4:35am, out the door by 4:45am, at the gym at 5:00am - 6:00am 5 min warm up on a machine (stationary bike or elliptical) 35 min Strength Training (ARMS one day, LEGS the other day) 20 min Cardio (Usually an ARC trainer) Best of Luck :)…

I wonder the same thing. Especially about Herbalife. But I always hear that when you stop you gain the weight back and then some. So I stick to the old fashion way, good ol exercise and eating healthy. Best of luck!

I don't really believe in "cheat days". If there is something that I want to eat that will take up most of my calories, I compensate for it by eating less on some days and working out more to make sure that I don't go over by too much. The thing about it is, you can eat whatever you want really. What matters is the amounts…

Goals: Drink more water! Continue to go to the gym! Ease up on the candy (skittles are my weakness) Thanks, Joanna

That's normal! I loose on average 1 - 1.5 lbs / week. If I lost 2lbs / week I would be jumping for joy! Great job! And don't be so hard on yourself! This isn't going to happen over night. It's not a diet, it is a complete lifestyle change, and that is going to take time, patience, and determination. There are going to be…

I haven't noticed a weight gain from being on the pill. Though I have gained weight, I am pretty confident it was from my horrible food choices and lack of exercise :( Best of luck, Joanna

I use MFP strength training for when I am doing using the weight machines! Best of luclk, Joanna

I just recently started strength training / weight lifting and I can't wait to see the results! Especially since I have zero upper body strength! LOL!

request sent :)

7cals burned per minute? I have never heard of that one before! Def gonna have to give that a try!

I generally go off of what MFP says. Now that I joined a gym and use the elliptical, calories burned on the elliptical tend to be way less than what MFP says when I enter it in. For example, 15 mins on elliptical says 138 calories, when entered into MFP it says 221. I always go with the lowest number. I've been thinking…

Once a week in the morning after peeing :) Best of luck, Joanna

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I appreciate it :) Gonna check out those compression shorts!

I love to jog outside. I hate running on a treadmill. I personally think running on a treadmill is easier. Since the "ground" is moving under you, all you have to do is play catch-up in a sense. Just make sure you are keeping up with the treadmill. When you're running outside, the pavement isn't moving underneath you. It's…

I started running about 2 months ago. I wanted to start working out but didn't want to pay for a gym membership until I knew I would be working out consistently. I use RunKeeper to track my runs, and also follow their running / training plans (some of them are free). I def notice a difference in my legs, they are…

I run every other day, anywhere from 45 - 60 mins, 3 - 4 miles. At the moment I am NOT doing any other cross training but am going to start weight lifting / toning next week. I haven't had any major issues running, but my legs do get sore, especially if I am running intervals. But I always push through, it's never enough…

I weigh 218lbs, 5'6 and can jog consistently for about 45mins - 60mins at least 3 times a week. Average pace ranges anywhere from 13-15mins / mile. Not a speed runner by any means, I run for the distance. best of luck :) Joanna

RunKeeper! I use to use MapMyRun, then tried Runtastic, but fell in love with RunKeeper. They have awesome running / training schedules you can follow (some are free, some cost) but overall I love. I am doing an 8 week running program called Running 4 Fat Loss! Tracks everything, you can set goals, highlights personal…
