Its usually because their blogs aren't about themselves necessarily. My oh used his blog as a portfolio for his work as do a lot of his friends and for example the geekologie writer has always been a secret and that's a huge blog (I have my suspicions that they changed writer a few mths ago though)

I'd just choose which scale u have most access to and use that one. That way even if you pick the one threat gives a wrong weight it should hopefully give it consistently. hope that makes sense
