This is the first time I've weighed in before and after exercise. I'm not recording it as a lose as I know it isn't really but why after exercise is my scale reading -1.6lb? It can't just be through sweat as though I did get red faced due to the wind I didn't really break a sweat as it was cold. I also drank 500ml.
Basically I'm just trying to learn what happens when we exercise and how long it takes for the scale to go back up and why it does.

A long time ago, a friend told me that he weighed in before and after to see how much water he needed to drink to replenish. So if you were 1.6 down, he'd say you should drink an extra 20ish ounces of water. I don't know that I totally buy it but that's what I was told.

I find the same thing, i weighed out of curiousity before a workout/run, then after and was down as well. I am pretty sure its the moisture lost thru the exercise, even if you don't get really sweaty, your body still sweats to cool your body, and it may just have evaporated faster... Your body was warm and the air was cold...
