I can get pretty boring with my eating, some how I think using some of the recipies in the fat fast book may shake it up a bit, maybe make it more fun, let me know when your going to fat fast, I will join in, and maybe others here too

I think I read someplace years ago that the threat of kidney damage while on an "atkins" or a "low carb / keto" type diet only existed when a person only ate protien?,, is this correct or a myth, Seems I recall that the diets were safe when there was fat and protien eaten together?,, just askin

i usually lose my hunger after 3 full days of very low carb eating, and your right, sometimes I forget to eat, I am pretty sure Atkins was counting on ketosis to kick in and cause the weight lose just through general bordom of eating low carb all the time,

I started at 385, i am now 318, I still have a long ways to go, but only atkins seems to give me long term weight loss, I always fall off of calorie counting, and atkins for me has kept the weight off that I have lost so far,

if your doing atkins induction phase you do not count calories only carbs, and depending on which atkins book your using you can either eat 20 carbs per day, or net carbs per day, but in the induction phase you do not have to count calories, thats the beauty of it,
