I have a 4 year old and an almost 2 year old. There's nothing I give them that I can't have as well...I just can't have as much sometimes. It doesn't have to be hard. :)

I eat whatever I want. These things only come up once every couple of months so it's not a big deal for me.

Not anymore. I used to. But then the cheat day would turn into the cheat weekend, and it was totally undoing all the hard work I had done during the week. It's a slippery slope, at least for me. Now if I have an event (birthday party, something like that) I will allow myself to eat what I want for that meal. I'll log it…

I put almond milk in my morning smoothie. (It has a scoop of whey protein powder so I'm not bothered that the almond milk has little protein). But if I were to drink a glass of milk (which doesn't happen often), I would choose skim or 1% milk hands down.

I bought pillsbury red velvet cookie dough in those pre-portioned cookie sizes with the intention of baking them for my daughters and husband, maybe eating 1 myself. Over the course of several days, I ate half the package. Without baking them first. As for the wearing work out clothes multiple times debate...if you don't…

Now because of the other thread, I feel compelled to say Reese's peanut butter eggs. Oh baby.
-
They are the most delicious morsels of food EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.

I cut a whole wheat pita up into "chips", sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, bake until crispy. Dip in salsa and sour cream. Mmmmm.

I'm a woman...I throw a scoop into my morning smoothie just to give my protein intake a boost. It does keep me feeling full longer than a non protein smoothie, but I still need to have a couple of eggs later in the morning. I only have one scoop a day. It makes no difference in my personal weight loss. Just a tool to keep…

Speaking as an obese woman (who is working to change that, I should add), it sure sucks having our clothes modeled on women who are several sizes smaller. I'm all for having a model that is actually the size that the clothes are made for. Why shouldn't we have appropriate models for our clothing?? I don't see this as…

I have a smoothie first thing. Water, almond milk, banana, protein powder, spinach and ice. It's 215 calories and keeps me full for 2-3 hours. Then I make a couple of eggs.

I don't log coffee, tea or coke zero. I log everything else.
-
I'm sorry :( Can you have it let out? Seems like that would be far less stressful.

I used to. Then cheat days turned into cheat weekends and then it all just went downhill from there. So now what I do is, if an event comes up (a birthday dinner for example), I go and enjoy myself and order what I want. I log it and move on. Other than that, I stick to my calorie allowance. Sometimes I make room for a…

I love weight watchers, but I think when they made fruit and veggies "free", that created a problem. I can't tell you how many times I was at meetings and had people complaining about not losing weight, and then it turns out that they were eating 2-3 bananas a day, strawberries, grapes, etc on top of their full daily…

Totally agree.

Crystal Pepsi was the best!!

Coke Zero all the way. Then Diet Pepsi. Then Diet Coke.
-
Almond milk, banana, protein powder (usually vanilla), spinach, ice cubes.
-
The "Eat for your blood type" diet.

No, it doesn't help. I am doing this because I have chosen to, because I want to. I would never give other people that much power.

I had a Flex and decided to try a One. I prefer the One because it's not on my wrist. I got tired of always having the flex on my wrist and I found myself always trying to carry things in the other arm, or pushing shopping carts with one arm so my steps would be counted. LOL.

I quit 5.5 years ago. At the time I didn't gain weight, but I was also keeping within my calories and working out daily to lose weight for my wedding. I gained weight after the wedding, but that was because I relaxed my diet and exercise regime WAY too much! Ever since then though, I have struggled more to lose weight.…

I saw this on Pinterest, so made my own...two jars. One labeled "Pounds left" and one "Pounds Lost". Put marbles in the "pounds left" jar, one for each pound you need to lose. Then move them to the "pounds lost" jar as you lose them. It's a great visual!

Add me if you'd like, I have 104lbs to lose!
-
I weighed myself after eating far too much over the holidays and I now officially have 104lbs to lose. Ugh. But today has been a good day. I went to the gym on my lunch break and have my food pre-logged for the day and so far am feeling good.

I cut up a pita into chips, bake until crispy, then eat with salsa. Delicious.

I'm Tracie, 34 years old. I have 2 girls who are 4 and 19 months. I've struggled with my weight most of my life, but the past 10 years or so have been especially difficult. I currently need to lose almost 100lbs to be at a "healthy" BMI. I lost 63lbs with weig watchers in 2007. Gained 30 of it back. Then lost 40lbs for my…

Question for everyone here...what is your calorie deficit? I can't decide if mine is too much or not. My BMR is about 1900, my TDEE about 2600. Because I'm morbidly obese, I feel like setting my goal to 2lbs per week is realistic, but the calorie count MFP gives me is under my BMR. Is that okay because I'm so big? I just…

No, I appreciate you saying that! I actually have suffered (on and off) from shin splints for years but only recently became aware that it could be something like stress fractures. My doctor doesn't think that's what it is, but we are exploring that route anyway.
