If anyone needs more support, please feel free to add me!

I sometimes have to hold the bars and it's because I have major issues with shin splints. I do everything I'm supposed to do to prevent them but some days I still have some pain, even when just walking. Holding the bars helps with it a lot, so the days they hurt, I hold on.

I am a huge fan of Weight Watchers. The meetings are great. I got a lot of support from them, and it was really nice hearing stories from other members that sounded a lot like my own. It was nice knowing I wasn't alone because sometimes it felt like I was. I lost a lot of weight by following Weight Watchers (gained it…

I have about 100lbs to lose as well. It's a bit overwhelming to think about sometimes, but it is what it is, I guess. I have no one to blame but myself for being where I am! I just really, really want to be able to shop in regular, non plus size stores!!

"Cleanse", "detox", "toxins" - I'm so tired of that crap. People who look down on large people at the gym...I'm doing something about it, how about not making me feel like crap while I'm doing it??? People who look down on people for starting on a certain day (like Jan 1). I totally get that the burst of new people at the…

Congrats on your first week and best of luck :)

2 adults, a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old = $500 per month. I'm in Alberta, Canada.

So basically I'm fatter than almost all the women in my age group in the world. Ouch!!

I drink tea after meals. I have a tendency to want to continue to eat even if I'm full because I enjoy the taste...so having some sort of "dessert" tea helps to stop me from wanting to keep eating. (I have a mint chocolate chip tea and a white chocolate tea that work great). No tea is going to help with weight loss, other…

I have not read all the replies... I can see why someone wouldn't want to. I wouldn't blame someone if they wouldn't want to see an obese nutritionist. However, I can tell you that I am obese and know a heck of a lot about nutrition, weight loss, etc. My knowledge level is not the issue, it's my ability to execute and…

I don't say anything unless I'm asked for my opinion. Sometimes it's hard not to say anything though. I was at a party for this makeup/skin care company that also has a line of "health food" type stuff. They do a 28 day detox and the consultant was selling it hard. Talking about how you have to get your body into an…

If you are unable to lose weight without exercising, you need to lower your calorie intake. You can absolutely lose weight without exercise. I don't know a whole lot about liposuction. But I do know it's a surgery that comes with risks and that is not something to be taken lightly.

I have stopped looking for the closest parking spot. It's been hard though, because I don't do it out of laziness...it's like a competition within myself. LOL. Ever see that episode of Seinfeld where George gets that awesome parking spot at the hospital and keeps talking about it and showing everyone? That's what I'm like.…

This resonates with me. Thank you.

Cauli-rice. I usually like the taste of cauliflower but in rice form, it tasted like what I imagine farts taste like.

The "Eat for your blood type" diet. I'm embarrassed I tried it!

I know 1 Marco. :) My breakfast is one piece of whole wheat toast with peanut butter and 2 eggs.

Coke Zero!!

Shirataki noodles and anything made by Walden Farms.

I have to come up with a game plan, otherwise the entire month of December will be a disaster. 2 Christmas parties, an annual Christmas dinner out with my best friends, a potluck at work, plus Christmas day, Christmas Eve (which is when we have the big dinner with my in laws) and New Year's eve. Yikes. Right now I'm…

I have a pretty aggressive deficit, but I'm also obese and have almost 100lbs to lose. My TDEE is about 2500 and I eat 1700-1800. I do go over once every two weeks or so though.

The base issue - whether he goes to the race with her or not - is not the real issue here I don't think. I don't necessarily blame him for not wanting to go, even though I do think supporting his partner is important. In my opinion, it's the way he handled it that is the issue.

The Arch Deluxe was the best!!! I worked there back when they had it, and it was super popular. I loved it, so I suppose it's for the best they don't have it anymore. Lol

Yes, the shirataki noodles are extremely low calorie (and disgusting, IMO lol). But the noodles in the picture contain wheat flour as the second ingredient so I just don't believe these can be that low.

I don't think his "precious weekend" excuse is a good one. It's not like it is going to take up his entire weekend - he will still have over half of it to relax. And supporting you in something important to you should be worth losing 6 or so hours of relaxing time. If he had just expressed to you that he wasn't overly…

That makes a lot more sense.

I feel like that can't be possible...it's not like the ingredients are completely different from regular pasta (except the pumpkin - and I don't know what Konjac powder is). I don't think I would feel right trusting it...

I suggest a seamstress as well. Not because I'm trying to be mean, or be a bully, or because I'm saying that losing the weight is impossible. It's because it will eliminate the unnecessary stress of trying to fit into your dress at the last minute. I've planned a wedding, and there's enough stress involved, you don't need…

I have 2 kids (4 and 18 months). I'm lucky and work at a place that has a free gym, so I do my workouts at lunch time. My motivation has come and gone, and as a result, I've gained and lost a few times over. (I have almost 100lbs left to lose). I've been doing well for the past couple of months and hope to continue that…

My Fitbit has absolutely motivated me to be more active. It's helped me immensely.
