80lbs down, 24 more to go.

Once they are no longer wearable, I get rid of them. I've sold some of the expensive pieces on Facebook, but have donated 99% of my old wardrobe.
-
I have gotten that too. I've lost 80lbs and have just under 24 to go to get me into the healthy bmi range. I've been asked by a few people if I planned on losing more and when I say yes, they insist that I couldn't possibly need to lose that much! They haven't been rude about it though, and I've taken it as a compliment,…

Waste of money.

It's a 3 way tie: MFP, my food scale, my Fitbit.

I finally dropped all my bullsh*t excuses. Yes, I can make time to work out. Yes, I can find the energy to cook healthy food after a long day at work. No, I don't have to turn to food when I'm stressed, sad, angry, bored. No, having a full time job and 2 small children is not an excuse to continue to be unhealthy. And so…

This 100%.

Honestly, you're much much better off eating more and having the weight come off more slowly. Speaking from experience, eating so little is a recipe for disaster. Please just at least think about it.
-
Time will fade them but I don't think anything gets rid of them completely. I still have some from growth spurts as a 12-13 year old. (I'm in my 30s now).

Welcome! I started January 5th, needing to lose 104lbs. I'm down 65 so far!
-
Yes, definitely on the right path. I've lost 65lbs since January by CICO, heavy lifting and moderate cardio.

Everyone has to find what works for them, and most importantly, what is sustainable long term. For me, it is absolutely not sustainable to completely cut out ice cream, chips, cookies, etc forever. That is not realistic, and for me, it's a recipe for disaster. So I practice calorie counting. If I have room in my calories…

Please just order what you want. Be yourself and just see what happens...don't try to be what you think he wants. I ordered poutine on my first date with my husband!

I used to be the same way. Now I log it and move on, get back on track with the next meal.

I have a bad knee and sometimes have to rake a day off when my knee needs it. But usually only 1-2 days a week off. I lift heavy every other day, and do cardio 5 days a week.

You need to "jump start" your weight loss and/or metabolism.

If you get a good leader, the meetings can be awesome and worth the membership fees. Like anything, WW works if followed properly. I am a former WW member. I'm sticking with MFP because I don't want to pay, and because I just prefer counting calories instead of points.

I work a desk job. 9 hours a day at a computer. I get up and walk around for a minute or so often. I take the long way to the bathroom, the long way to the printer, etc. I park in the far end of the parking lot. Walk on your lunch break. Work out in the mornings or evenings. I work out at lunch, and if I don't, i do it…

Right.

Ughhhh I have several friends selling this stuff. It's a waste of money.
-
I agree with this. Whether you decide to cut it out or learn to eat it in moderation, it will take willpower which can be difficult sometimes. You have to figure out which way works best for you, and which way you think will be sustainable long term. Different things work for different people, but for me, learning…

This is my third time. The first time, I lost 63lbs on Weight Watchers. I gained back 30 after deciding to do the "cheat day" thing, which turned into cheat weekends, then cheat weeks, etc. Second time was for my wedding and I lost 40lbs. I went about it all wrong...I ate as little as I could get away with, and exercised…
-
People started noticing at around 20lbs, and REALLY started noticing at around 35.
-
It took me about 30lbs to drop from a snug 20 to a comfortable 18. Then 15 more to get from a loose 18 to a decent 16.
-
You do not have to exercise 4 hours a day, that's excessive to put it mildly. Why do you have to give up social activities and a vacation? I say this with sympathy...you are making this way harder on yourself than it needs to be. I have an active social life, a full time job and 2 small children, and I've lost over 50lbs…
-
Nope, I never log any kind of cleaning.
-
Maybe they just didn't know how to say they don't want a stranger walking their dog? Anyway, I take my Pomeranian for a walk everyday. He's a little plump so we both need the exercise.
-
Huge waste of money. I have several "It Works" reps on my Facebook, and they all say "results can be permanent with a healthy lifestyle!" Just keep your money and go straight to the healthy lifestyle.
-
Breakfast is my smallest meal of the day and I've lost 50lbs since January. I think it just comes down to personal preference.

The one in the pink bottle. Kidding, kidding. I just use the one at Costco because it tastes decent and is a reasonable price.
