In my opinion, absolutely. It motivates me like crazy, especially when I'm in challenges with friends.

I do the TDEE method as well, so yes, I end up eating some back.
-
I'm down 32lbs since January 5th, so it's absolutely working for me.
-
A whole day, no, I don't do that. I do allow myself to go over my calorie budget for events/special events though. (So a meal, not a day).

No pork rinds for me. Because they're gross.

This.

I got it too! Suddenly I feel a lot less special!

I am totally going to make this. I love sweet potato.

I'm 30lbs in on my 100lb weight loss. My advice: 1. Be patient and don't let the scale get you down. Focus on non scale victories as much as possible. 2. Don't be too restrictive. It may lead to binging. You have to find what works for you, it may take some trial and error. 3. If you have a bad day/meal, just log it and…

I sometimes hold the treadmill because I have shin issues and I hold on every now and then to give my shins a bit of a break. If that makes someone cringe, so be it. My gym is small, and at my work and the only thing that bothers me is there is one guy who drops the weights very loudly, all the time and it's annoying and…

Fitbit One is awesome!

I'm in Canada, and in the city I live in, we have The a Cheesecake Cafe. From what I understand, it's a crappy version of the Cheesecake Factory. A piece of cheesecake = 1100-1500 calories there. My office goes there for special lunches all the time, and I don't get cheesecake anymore. But I have in the past, along with a…

I really like the 30 Day Shred.

I've made a lot of small changes that add up, in order to increase my step count. For example, if I have something for the recycle bin in the office (empty bottle or something), I used to take it and toss it in there on the way to the bathroom. Now I do everything in separate trips. I'll go to the bathroom, come back, then…

Low fat cheese...it melts weird!!!

I have the Fitbit One and love it. I had a Flex originally and didn't like having it on my wrist, so I switched to the One.
-
I really like it. My coworkers and I often do it on our lunch break because we don't have a lot of time, and it's a great shorter workout.
-
I rarely eat these nowadays but I will say, I love the Smart Ones Santa Fe rice and beans. I make a homemade version now, but if I'm in a pinch and really need something fast, that's the one I would buy.

I work a desk job, so I have to make a real effort to walk as much as I can, and also do some exercise on my lunch break. So that's what I do, everyday. I am rarely under 10,000, and am usually around 12,000-15,000. Sometimes as high as 20,000. I have a Fitbit as well, and several friends have one. So we have challenges…

I haven't denied any requests. I haven't gotten that many though. I recently went and deleted friends who hadn't been active in several months. Now I think I have around 40. I like to see their updates in my newsfeed, it makes it a little more interesting. I don't rely on them for motivation or anything though.

I got a Vegetti recently. I love it.

I have heard that the barbecue sauce is actually not bad. I tried the peanut butter and Alfredo sauce...both were absolutely disgusting. Vile. Vomit inducing. I refuse to try any other Walden Farms products.

I use the elliptical more often because I have a bad knee, and it's not as hard on my knee as the treadmill. When I do use the treadmill, I have to go at a slower pace because of my knee, so in 30 minutes, I get about 3500-4000 steps. On the elliptical, I can get up to 5000 steps in 30 minutes. I agree with what's been…

I have the One. I started with a Flex and switched to the One. I really prefer not having one on my wrist.

Gotta make room for cake!

I think generally speaking, men have a slight edge in the weight loss department. I would never say it's "easy" for them though.
-
I log the cooked weight. If I add breading, or a sauce or anything like that, I log it separately. It doesn't add much weight to the chicken anyway.

I don't think I'll ever be able to get over the thought of drinking tuna juice. Add dishwasher lasagna and I think I may be scarred for life.

Really??? That is disgusting!
