  • I don't understand why this is a bad thing? I am a coach. I am not being dishonest, sneaky or trying to hide anything. I'm proud to support these programs because they work! Having a support system in place is a bonus that helps us reach our goals. Helped me, anyway. :o) Contrary to popular belief, I LOVE to help other…
  • Yes! It is a private Facebook group for those doing the same program, ChaLEAN Extreme, at the same time. My goal for us is to stay motivated and keep each other accountable. Groups like this have been a huge factor to my success and keeping me going. Without them, I'd probably be back to my lazy ways by now! It's a lot of…
  • marypatmccue, No one has to buy a thing from me. :o)
  • I avoid diet soda at all costs. Artificial sweetener is so hard to steer clear from! It's everywhere! I enjoy Zevia soda once in a while but, it is expensive as someone else mentioned. It also contains Erythritol, which I'm not crazy about. I wish it was pure Stevia. :o) At any rate, I don't drink soda often, so I normally…
  • Once a week for me! Saturday mornings. :o) I can fluctuate between 3-5 lbs. per day. It's nuts! So, I like to weigh once a week under the same set of circumstances to get an accurate idea of how I'm doing. I used to be obsessive about it, NOT GOOD! Drove me nuts.
  • 1. I'm not selling anything. I did my own research on meal replacements and chose Shakeolgy for myself. No one "sold" it to me, and I'm not selling it to anyone. Just offering up my experience based on comparison of what's in Shakeolgy vs. other meal replacements. 2. I DID NOT say that a meal replacement is better than…
  • From ndj1979: "overt attempt at spamming... so let me get this straight; the slim fast replacement shake is garbage, but the shakeology replacement shake is heavenly, bordering on magical unicorn dust....hmmmmmm the irony here is amazing ... how much is this magical drink you are selling?" I never claimed that slim fast is…
  • I drink Shakeology for breakfast every day and have never felt better! It is a super healthy meal replacement full of whole superfoods and natural ingredients. It helps eliminate cravings, provides energy, fills you up and it does help in the weight loss department. :o) That being said, I also eat 4-5 other meals per day.…
  • Love my Polar F4! It's easy to use and motivating! :o)
  • To record on MFP, I've always just created my own exercise. I title it the name of the Insanity workout, time and how many calories I burned. It is saved in "My Exercises" and then I can use it again. I wear a heart monitor when I exercise, so that's how I know how many calories I burned. Hope this helps!
  • Hmmmm...I honestly think ANYONE can do Insanity!! It's not about keeping up with the professionals on the screen, it's about pushing yourself outside of YOUR comfort zones. Anyone can do that at any level. Results don't come from going through the motions, they come from really digging deep.
  • P.S. I'd also stick to lean meats, whole grain carbs (brown rice, quinoa, whole grain wheat, etc.), and healthy fats (avocado, olive and coconut oil...), veggies and some fruit. Sure, the main science to losing weight is to burn more calories than you consume, but for overall health and fitness your diet should be…
  • Also about the Macros...I try to aim for 40% carbs, 40% protein and 20% fat. Those are the numbers the suited me very well with Insanity. I tried to up the protein to 50% and lower the carbs to 30%, but my energy and workouts suffered. If you have any more questions, please let me know.
  • I went right to T25 after Insanity. I had considered doing another round of Insanity, but I was ready for a change. :o) T25 fit the bill perfectly! I was very pleased with my Insanity results, but the long workouts were getting to me. 25 minutes = no excuses! I have 5 weeks left and then I'm going to start ChaLEAN Extreme…
  • I aim for 40% carbs/40% protein and 20% fat. These macros work well for me, especially during Insanity. If I eat less carbs and more protein my energy suffers.
  • I just did the Insanity fit test yesterday and it about killed me!!! I didn't know if I was going to throw up, pass out or die. Check out teambeachbody.com Lots of good info there.
