This is funny! But, in defense of the people (like me) who don't post as often...sometimes the reading is the encouragement we need, but we don't have time to post that often. I haven't been able to log in and participate in the forums as often as I would like, because I am busy. It doesn't necessarily mean they aren't…

Ahhh yes, the desk-boat! :grumble: I find it's easier to log in and keep track than to actually DO the exercises. It's almost like I need someone to call me and get me out of bed to exercise!

Walking in place is a great idea! Can you also try walking around the house to liven it up? I'm definitely looking forward to the hip hop class. I've got a bit of a knee issue, so between hip hop and yoga, I hope to get them stronger!!! Also - i've discovered what apparently is OBVIOUS but I didn't realize it till now:…

Hello everyone....ok, on to week two. I did pretty well with week one, I think. Only missed one day of walking. So last night I tried a new fitness class....it was POLE DANCING. :noway: Yep. It was not as much of a workout as I thought...a lot of standing around, then trying something, and well...I won't be going back. My…

Hello everyone. Sorry I am not as active as other people on here, but I've been keeping up! My miles are still at the 2+ per day mark, and I'm drinking PLENTY of water. Tonight I have a FUN exercise planned! A friend and I are doing a pole-dancing class. :embarassed: I even bought some booty shorts to wear. Yikes. But it…

Today wasn't so great on the exercise - i didn't get to walk my two miles. However, back in the saddle tomorrow!!! I just wrote a blog post about my new plan, with the help of some friends. :) I'm so excited!!

I think there are just some bodies that hold the weight more tightly. My sister went right back into her regular clothes (size 4/5/6) a week after her son was born (and she was probably 145), and I'm currently 140-ish and in a size 4. My mom is 180 or so and wears a 12. The weight just sits deeper into the body, I guess?

Alright - I'm on track for the first day! Unfortunately, I weighed myself at the gym this morning and got a less than pleasant surprise - up an additional 2.5 pounds since Friday?!?!  But, this morning I did both rowing and running, and walked a mile from my car to my office, so hopefully I can add on some good…

Day one: Walked my miles, and drank my water....more than enough water! I feel all bloated and icky though. I am wondering about doing a body cleanse/flush sort of thing. Anyone done one of these?

Me too. I've been holding steady at 140 and can't figure out how to move past it...I want to be down to 120 to be in my "ideal" weight. I'd love some buddies to keep me accountable!

Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to some people to keep me accountable - I've been steady at 140 for a bit now, and I am so frustrated. I just bought a set of weights to use at home (just little hand weights) and I have access to a gym, so I'm trying to get there for cardio 4-5 days a week. I can add my miles in…

Sure, I'm in. The 100 miles should be a good goal to add in.

What do *you* want from the relationship? If she is cheating, it is because she's not feeling secure in the relationship - either by some sort of built up miscommunication, or some anxiety she may be feeling. Snap decisions are not the best in the long run. If I were your wife, and I was told to make a supervised phone…
