I find this just another excuse. In the USA we give food stamps aka ebt card and they can but whatever they want they just choose not to. I live on a tight budget and feed my family of 4 on it. I lost 40 lbs before i had my son without Metformin. I hate metformin. I did the pcos diet of 40% 30% 30% and ate little to no sugar and I did it

I love my crockpot and chicken does well in it. I will put chicken breast in the crockpot with bbq sauce and when I get home shredd it in the sauce. I also make chicken chili the same way but follow the McCormick spice packet. Oh and I also make shredded chicken tacos with either taco seasoning and a little water or salsa…

To the hormone question , the only hormone threopy to this is if she was trying to get prehnant. PCOS and weight go hand in hand. She will have a better chance of keeping PCOS under control the less she weighs. I too suffer from PCOS.

I follow the PCOS Diet 40%carbs 30%fat and 30%protein. I try to keep sugar very low

I buy alot of side dishes when they are $1. Meats I buy in bulk and cut them down and freeze them. Also buy stuff when its on sale even if you dont need it :)

I love all of these things so I eat them in moderation. In my experience when you start to cut things out of your diet you start to feel like you are missing out. Moderation is the key:smile:
