HIya. Ive been losing and gaining the same 2lbs for about a month now, so I understand what you mean. Four of us at week have come up with a competition. We put in £1 per week each and the first person to lose a stone (14lb) before Xmas gets the cash. I started well (lost 2lb the frsit week), but have put on 4lb this week,…

HI Stacey. Im feeling a bit the same at the mo, have lost 2 stone in the last 3 and a bit months, but I always get this far in and then it all goes out the window. Determined not to go the same way this time, add me as a friend and lets crack this together. :o)

Ive only lost 26lbs so far, but have walked it off. The weight has come off my waist and thighs (and some off my face), Ive lost a wee bit from my stomach and none from my boobs (these are the areas I most want to lose it from), so I reckon the Universe must determine that the areas we want to lose it from will be the last…

Ive been here for nearly two months and like you am going it alone. I cant tell you how essential the suppoort on here has been for me (my OH can eat like a horse and not gain weight!), as previous replies have said, if you log everything (no matter how bad!) every day and add in your excersize, you can clearly see where…

All great suggestions here, thanks very much to all of you. Im lucky I dont have milk in my coffee and am finding that when Im hungry a large glass of water can usually take care of the hunger pangs. I agree 1200 isnt much (especially when Ive got over 5 stone to loose!), but am trying to find low cal snacks that I can…

Cheers ganz, I might give that a try as well. :o)

Thanks bcattoes. Im finding that I can eat resonably until the point where I get home from work, then I need something nice, then I have to do some excersize to 'earn' enouhg calories to have a decent main meal. Im sure I will strike the right balance if I play about enough. :o)

Thanks Bianca, I was kinda working around thoses figures, but find that Im ready for something nice after work so my 'snack' can get a bit caorific, then I have to do some excersize to have a decent amount for my main meal. I guess I shall have to play around a bit. Thanks again. :o)

Thanks for the link Teabea, but its out of my budget Im afraid. Im gonna investigate further to see if they do any cheaper models. :o)

Hi Cathy and welcome. Im new to all this as well and I loathe excersize, after a full days work I just wanna sit on my backside and read or watch telly. I also realise I have to make changes but finances are very restrictive currenlty so Im just concentrating on making small changes that I can live with (that dont cost…

He was getting drunk every night (after the breakdown of his first marraige) when his favourite haunt in central London was closed for a few weeks for a refurb. When it reopened I statred and was pulling the pints for him. 10 days later we went out, we spent Xmas together 4 months later and married 18 months later. Weve…

Hi Lauren. Ive only joined up yesterday. The young girls @ work are obsessed with losing weight and talk about mfp all the time so I thought Id take a look on the quiet. I have a lot of weight to lose, and have sucessfully lost approx 28 lbs in the past, then put it all back on. Budget is the biggest hurdle for me at the…
