It barely contains any nutrients unless you're eating it in massive quantities, which will do more harm then good for obvious reasons.

Kudos to you! I hope to be able to say that 19 years from now. :)

Please don't try to toute butter like it's some sort of health food....
-
*shrug* It's easy to get plenty of that without butter. I haven't eaten it in months.
-
Putting butter on pasta or bread doesn't do anything to sate my hunger, so why waste calories on it?
-
Don't forget the ketchup and sketti.

I don't know why but I thought this thread was going to be about an elliptical inside a sock. Lol

How can you eat this stuff? It tastes like icy cardboard....

Butter is just completely unnecessary. Whatever minerals are in butter can be found in a healthy balanced diet with no need for a calorie laden spread.
-
In my opinion it's just a waste of calories. I don't want an extra 100 calories on my breakfast that is totally devoid of nutritional value and does nothing to help me feel full.

Daiya is amazing. I wouldn't recommend eating it right out of the package, but melted it's pretty damn tasty.

Dozens of people use the scale at the gym, it's bound to need more calibration then your scale at home. I would go by the one you use the most often!

If humans aren't supposed to do cocaine, why is it so addictive?

I would rather eat enough calories to get all the nutrients my body needs to sustain itself.

i know a lot of people who only eat one meal a day. I personally couldn't do it, I have to eat regularly or I feel awful. If it works for you, and you still have energy for the day, go for it! If you feel hungry and tired all the time, maybe it's just not right for you. Experiment with it if you're interested.

Unless you're eating a ton of soy, it really won't hurt. Of course the most important thing is to listen to your body. If you feel any different after eating soy, cut down on it. I eat a fairly large amount of tofu and edamame regularly and have no ill effects. You could always drink almond milk if you're worried about it!…

But didn't you know if you don't eat 1 gram of protein for every pound of weight then you will look weak and sickly and have zero muscle mass?! Lol I met my protein today eating literally nothing but fruits, veggies, and beans.

I should have known... You almost gave me quite the scare!

Just because they brought them out doesn't mean you have to eat them. Also, it's a calorie issue, not a carb issue.

If I'm doing something really intense like a long run or HIIT I can't eat 2 hours before of else I get tummy issues. If I'm strength training or doing yoga I can eat a small something before hand. You don't NEED to eat before a work out necessarily. I don't notice an increase in energy when I do.

In my dark days of fatness I would literally sleepwalk to the kitchen and eat, without even being conscious. I would find myself unable to stop eating if food was in front of me, not matter what it was. It took a lot of hard work, counseling, and help from my family members to overcome it. Yes, I had poor willpower, but…

But just like everything else, moderation is key!

I like adding them to smoothies for a boost of protein and healthy fats. :)

It's her job to look good. She has personal trainers and chefs that plan everything out for her.

It's not impossible but it's very difficult. On that note, there's absolutely nothing wrong with carbs. You and i are friends, I'm sure you've seen my diary before. Absolutely loaded with carbs! :P

Getting sick from one piece of pizza is a little extreme unless you're lactose intolerant or lactose sensitive. Could it be something else?

My friend made me some and it's delicious, but he's very secretive about his recipes...

It's a tough reality to accept, but I do think I will spend the rest of my life tracking my food. I totally lose control otherwise.
