If I'm still me, only in dude form, I'd still get to carry over my intelligence and inhibition, so it's not applicable. Gotta love these hypotheticals. But thanks. :flowerforyou:

I overhear many of the statements on your list at work and school on a daily basis, guys talking to guys about women. And, weirdly enough, the younger the guys, the more scathing the comments. My own father says some these things regularly. I have occasionally wondered if I wouldn't be better off as a guy. Sure, it may not…

But when do you sleep, girl?! W2G!!!

Quoted because it's true. Sooo true!

+1 Darn those flyers! But yeah, I agree.

There are some fine models of would-be independent FDA-esque organizations. I'd link if I had the time and I thought linking would do any good. Since neither of those conditions are met, I decided to bow out with that comment. No offense or anything. :flowerforyou:

Thanks for the suggestion. But I'll stick with what I've already researched.
-
Key words in bold. Look at it this way: The only income of the FDA is government money. As such, they have to go with the government's agendas. They haven't got the alternative source of income that a private organization does. :)
-
Yeah, but they still oversee it and make the final decision. If the government really wants to push a certain product, they do so, with little regard to the effectiveness uncovered in the study. Obviously, if the product is undeniably harming the subjects, then it's discontinued (which is great lol). But my concern is more…

Has no one suggested an independent company for the testing and investigation of supplement products before release to the general public? A private, for-profit organization is far less likely to give in to those ever-enticing government bribes--I mean, subsidies. Big government is getting bigger. It's first concern is…

 I don't even. I'd say glad I don't eat cliff bars, but really, there's no telling what goes on at *any* processing plant... I used to work at a printshop warehouse. I'd bleed all over the paper before I could manage to bandage my latest paper cuts. That was an average day of work. But in the food industry--I don't…

I do cardio because I like it. And because it helps me climb those several flights of stairs everyday without having a heart attack lol. But cardio is definitely not necessary to burn fat. You can do that by super-setting your lifts anyway. Or by jogging in place/doing jumping jacks between sets. Whatever keeps your…

haha, sorry meant to edit, but quoted instead. XD

Personally, I suffer from unwanted support. I like to call 'em "backseat dieters." Sometimes, the people closest to you will uphold a pretense of support. Sure, they say they are supportive. But we all know that simply saying "I'm supporting you" is, in reality, no form of support. They don't ask about your plans, goals,…

Pimp Slaps Wood Choppers Oblique Planks They're all so much fun!

I understand where you're coming from, but The current wars/conflicts are sufficient to kill us off fast enough, if not more quickly than we can birth and raise children. Dwindling natural resources--Even if the population globally were to boom for a sustained period, we would still see a similar consumption trend in…

Semi-related, hypothetical question: if half your friends list has quit (not logged on in 3 weeks or more), does that mean you fail as a friend?

And logic bomb. d^^b I think I love you <3

I do believe we've seen evidence that proves men are *generally* no less catty than the women, however cleverly worded the statement. ;)
-
Ah, thanks for the reading material. =D Will do. ^^ Gotcha. I was trying to do it all in one go, but it's probably more realistic to focus on cutting fat primarily and readjust my routine as necessary when I'm closer to the goal.
-
Thanks to both of you for the information so far. My general goal is to eventually achieve a healthy weight for my frame (130-140 pounds). But secondly, being "skinny" isn't enough--I would like to look toned all over at the end of my cut. My final concern is endurance, agility, and flexibility for playing sports. So while…

Barring early-onset osteoporosis, excessive water loss, or hacking off chunks of skin willy-nilly; I believe I can safely narrow my choices to fat loss or muscle loss. Or both--that's more likely, I guess. Btw, I am not lean (I probably should have told you that at the onset.) I'm 5'5" and 226 pounds. What I took from the…

ROFL OMG can't breathe! You are a truly wise man!

Hmmm, I was wrong on one point. It seems that the attitude you broadcasted was indeed intentional. In that case, carry-on. ;)

Ok, because you asked, I will answer. You said you were "supportive and nonjudgmental." And you, as a person in real life, may very well be. Honestly, I could not determine this for a surety unless I had several conversations with you. However, we have to understand that there is a gigantic difference in perspective and…
