Wow, this has been SO encouraging for me!! I am 5'9" and I started at 250. I'm currently 171 and my body fat percentage is around 20% My original goal weight was 145, but after getting my body fat tested I realized that I didn't have 25 lbs of body fat to lose, since I only have 35 lbs of fat, and 10 lbs of fat on a 145lb…

spinach?? Spinach is like a daily necessity for me...

try washing them and running them through the dryer. It helps.

This is true, but not quite accurate. Interval training does burn calories more quickly and it will also cause your core to work harder--building more muscles in your core, but you can't spot reduce. It might cause you lose inches around your waist just because of the tightened muscles and excess fat loss. I lost 3 inches…

I would agree with this. Using the name of Jesus OUT LOUD is the way I have heard to do it. Typically, it is not a good idea to invite evil spirits into your life (I'm not sure that you have) but sometimes people go "looking" for evil spirits and then they have a tendency to have more mishaps with them.

I thought about making my own, but didn't know about the tahini. I would imagine Greek yogurt would be a great choice!

Check out Oxygen Magazine (yes it is for women, but it is spectacular) and bodybuilding.com. As stated above, clean eating is essentially eating foods in their most natural state. Basically, if you look at the ingredients listing and you don't know what it is or can't pronounce it (without a degree) then you probably…

Are you all eating clean? I know that is really pretty important. I am still logging what I eat, but I bumped my calories to 1600. Yesterday I ate 2000!!!! However...I also had dark chocolate, wine, etc...so it wasn't a perfect first day. I have learned that changing your eating habits takes so long. It would be awesome if…

Many gyms (like the YMCA) offer scholarships. All you have to do is apply. Also, I work at my local YMCA just two days (6 hours) a week and get my membership free (plus minimum wage). My daughter's is $7/month. I have a pair of dumbbells and a kettle bell and that affords me quite a few at home strength training exercises.…

You know what I find really HOT? Guys that are genuinely caring, generous people. Guys that are focused on others more than themselves. He could be average in looks but I would be so blinded by his character that I fall crazy, obsessively in love.
-
I have heard there is a 50 something guy that does this at my gym too. So glad I'm a woman.

Unless you want to get drunk and high, then you will laugh when you watch it. LOL
-
hahaha! don't you work?
-
lol I almost spit water out all over my computer!!

I had tilapia and a cup of veggies for 145 cals, 4 carbs, 0 fat and 23 protein last night. Sheesh, you could add some brown rice and still be under your goal!

I have been doing Ri30. I do it in this order: day 1--week 1 day 2--week 2 day 3--week 3 day 4-week 4 etc. I don't find it to be too hard, so I do alternate exercise everyday. However, I had noticed that doing 2 workouts a day for 4 days in a row wiped me out. My evening workouts are like running or cycling and weight…

I picked up a part time job so I will have to work 8-8 on V-Day. Fortunately my job is NOT in a restaurant. LOL That is good though because otherwise...ya...it would suck. I DO have a massage lined up for Friday morning, I might take my daughter to a movie Sat. morning, and I'm thinking about making steaks one night this…

I eat between 1300 and 1600 and my diary is open. Feel free to add.

I LOVE the Zone Perfect bars. I eat them almost everyday. Chocolate peanut butter are my favorite. ETA: Zone bars are also CHEAP. $4.30 (appx) for 6.

What is a frind list? I texted your jokes this am to a friend, who shared them with another friend, who forwarded them to people all over town. Thanks for spreading the love!

Check out bodybuilding.com. There are a lot of awesome programs on there. Jamie Eason's program looks awesome, but it suggests cutting out cardio for a month. I'm planning on starting it doing cardio too.

Wow! Thank you! This helped me a lot!

That's tough. I made the mistake of getting involved in a similar situation and it just pulled me into the drama. A better approach might have been to send a PM to the father just saying something about how sorry I felt about the situation he is and sending hopes that things get better and forgiveness comes. :)

It is important to remember that the HRM is only an estimate, just like the treadmill and MFP are only estimates. While the HRM is probably more accurate, our heart rate DOES NOT determine the number of calories burned. If you are wondering you can check out this article from the University of New Mexico. It is a little…

Ugh!!! I broke my foot a year ago and it was hellacious!! :( I'm so sorry that happened to you!! I would definitely echo the weights!! Also...hopefully you are as lucky as I was, I got out of the cast in two weeks. Once in a boot I could take it off and go swimming. You can definitely do core work to your heart's content!!…

I am doing Ri30 and although I just started I am alternating the weeks by day, so that I don't have the same workout each day. You just have to keep track a little more carefully so you don't get lost or confused. I'm definitely enjoying it and I took pictures at the beginning, so I can't wait to see the differences!

Ok, so are you asking for permission to eat the junk? What is the difference if the boys had eaten last night or you throw it away? Either way, it's gone. If you must, repurpose the foods and eat them in smaller portions with healthier options...like the wings on the salad idea.
