  • Firstly eating 1200 calories a day and going to the gyn will not put you muscle ON. Going to the gym could cause sore muscles to hold on to water while they heal, so for that reason I actually second taking measurements. 5lbs a month is not pathetic, it's a tad over 1lb a week. I generally lose 1lb a week and do not see it…
  • Merangue is very very sweet and not too bad in calories compared to some thing. I like a merangue nest, spoon in some vanilla yoghurt then spoon some mixed fruit on the top. I've also been known to put a drizzle of melted dark chocolate over the top :) Very yummy for a nice dessert. I have also just fallen in love with Yoo…
  • I love my baths. I usually have one a week (shower the rest of the time) and it has bubble bath or oil or some kind of nice smelly thing in it. I put my music on and have a glass of wine (its usually in the evening). I love it. But, I shower off after because whatever smellies stuff I have used would still be on my skin…
  • You look awesome! (and pretty damn sexy on that bike lol). Well done on hitting the half way am sure you'll get to your goal x
  • How do I make my belly fat migrate to my boob? That would do me just nicely!
  • I am trying to lose weight so I do weights plus cardio (usually weights first so I have the energy for proper form and to work at my max). But I love eating (obviously lol) so I like to use cardio to create some extra calorie burn so I can have a bit of extra food :) In my head, I think of cardio to help the weight come…
  • If you want to do it, spend a lot of time thinking about the design you want and disucss it with your tattoo artist and once you have something amazing go for it! I will be adding to my tattoos soon but find it so hard to decide what I want!
  • I'm sure for some folk it is. Not for me personally although I am building up some new online buddies, I am married so it will never be anything more. Having said that, I met my hubby on Myspace (remember that?? lol) so although not a dating site, it was online.
  • In for the kitties. More kitties please .
  • Hey just noticed you're in Leeds, me too!
  • Its defiinitely recommended to take iron supplements with Vit C, a small glass of OJ at the same time should be fine. Also, iron can make you constipated.... oh and it can make your poo black.... just thought I'd warn you about that in case you didn't know, can look a little freaky! lol
  • It's very scary. While yes it can happen to anyone as many people could have an underlying heart condition they are un-aware off, I think the lack of the gyms staff that are trained in basic first aid is the scariest. I'd kind of always assumed my gym always had someone there who was trained in basic first aid emergency…
  • You could give your extra calories to me, I bet I could eat them!!
  • Well done on getting the weight loss moving again! It's so frustrating to not see the scales move for a while.
  • My midwife recommended weetabix for iron when I was anemic when I was pregnant (smell of meat made me puke at the time lol). She never said anything about milk making it not effective though!
  • Thanks everyone I will definitely be looking at it more closely :)
  • Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Guess it's kind of a daft question really "is a diet of quality meat with lots of veggies, some fruit and no real processed stuff going to be good for me?" lol. Well of course it is. I read on all these sites with all their "science" and unfortunately I'm not too up on the science to know…
  • Although not on a dating site me and my hubby met on My Space! We had no friends in common but I think he saw me in the friends list on a music page that we both liked and he said he liked my smile and we obviously had a similar taste in music so he sent me a friend request and a message. Now been together 6 years and…
  • Welcome back! You've done it once so you know it works and you know you can do it. Happy losing!
  • Get your 4 yr old on your shoulders and carry her that way, My 4 yr old gets tired after about 2 miles at a pretty slow pace so I usually get him on my shoulders and pick up the pace. That feels like a work out I tell you!!
  • Fantastic results, well done!
  • Thanks for your advise Kate!
  • Ah sorry I misunderstood. From what you have said here I would definitely think your need some guidance and support, probably more than an online community can offer. It certainly sounds like you don't have a good relationship with food, so in my opinion you would be best to push and get some extra help, however only you…
  • I think the weight gain and the constant trips to the loo is likely because your body doesn't know what the heck to do with itself. Your stomach probably doesn't know whether it's coming or going so is going to be very sensetive. If you are already seeing an ED specialist I don't really have any advice to add but just…
  • Thanks. I thought there would be more people who would be follow it. It seems a low carb (with carbs from nuts, vegetables and small amount of fruit).
  • Mine sits in my bra. Gets a little sweaty at times so I worry I will kill it one day, but so far, so good!
  • I'm with the multiple bra idea too. I have a shock absorber one that was pretty pricey but even that on it's own didn't hold things steady enough at the start. Now I've got a bit of weight off its fine on it's own but in the start I wore that plus a cheapy multi pack sports bra over the top that I got in Asda.
  • What the heck is wrong with your body that you need to fast with just water to make it heal????
  • Slowly is the important word in your statement there. Well done on what you have done so far, very hard work! You need to try and find that magic number. Unfortunately I think eating as low as 1000 calories for a year you might see some gains when you start upping the calories. Personally I would work on upping your…
