I'm wanting to lift heavier so if my trainer suggested that I'd be well up for it :) Good luck with it :)

I'm not following keto at the moment but will give you my reply from when I was. I think you have to play around and find what works best for you. Unfortunately I don't think ketosis is an exact science so what keeps one person in ketosis might kick another out. Having too much protein can sometimes kick a person out of…

Unless you ate a heck of a lot of food in the last day or two then that is not fat gain. Try not to freak out so much, if 5lbs goes on pretty much over night and you know you didn't eat something like 10,000 calories yesterday then that weight won't stick around too long once you are off the tablets. Hope your toe / foot…

I tried the 5:2 diet which is similar to JUDDD except you just do 2 days a week on the lower calories. If you follow these plans to the rule (and eat at pretty much maintenance calories on your UP days) then they don't really have any benefits for weight loss over a regular reduced calorie diet. All it does is reduce your…

That's awesome :)

Pink, I love her! Hubby would love to sing like Myles Kennedy.

Fantastic! What a difference!

Personally my hubby pointing out someone was fit wouldn't bother me. Saying someone was hotter than me would bother me. Even though I KNOW there are millions of hotter women than me, I don't want to hear my hubby say it. I know it's just a tiny difference but I am a woman and like to be complicated lol. So for me, he can…

Although timing of meals doesn't really make any difference, some people prefer eating 5 or 6 small meals a day. It means it's only ever a couple of hours to something else and although small portions it can help control hunger. Could you try something like that?

I have no problem with my hubby pointing out sexy women, I know which famous women he finds attractive and he knows who I like. He would just never say they were hotter than me. I mean..... who can be hotter than the person you are madly in love with??
-
Even if my husband thought some woman on TV was hotter than me (and to be honest there are many).... he wouldn't actually say that to me. I'd find it quite disrepectful. Maybe just add in "you mean after me...right?" and if he doesn't agree kick him in the nuts. That's what I'd do lol.

Great results guys!!

Personally if I have a bad day or a weekend I try to forget about it rather than rectify it. If I start pushing myself harder at exercising or eating less calories to even out the week total I end up under eating and burnt out which usually results in me being too tired to cook healthy and do my usual exercise. You can't…

And this makes it all the more impressive that you are still doing it and still pushing yourself! It isn't an easy workout. It burns lots of calories! So well done for taking that decision to push through.

Who gives it a bad rap? Bacon and eggs is quite popular on here I think.

I asked the same question once and was told, nope, get to lifting soon as possible. Retain as much muscle during weight loss and it will help things out when I only have 10-20lbs to lose. Good luck!

I think she would be saying "you are a nice guy but don't want to sleep with you"

Ooooh not sure. I know when I stopped the pill it took me 2 months to get a period so hope its not that long for you! Hopefully your hormones will settle down soon and the cravings go away.

I do my cardio after lifting weights, but only a bit of it. I tend to try and alternate lifting and cardio days. I generally do 5 minutes on the stairmaster to warm up, do my weights routine and finish off with about 15 minutes on the cross trainer or rowing machine. On none gym days I am doing couch to 5k at home on the…

What a great achievement. You are beautiful!

If you are using MFP guidelines to set your calories then yes, you should eat them. The deficit for you to lose weight is already build in so calories you burn are extra to eat back. If you calculate TDEE and then set calories to say 20% less than TDEE, and the activity is part of your regular exercise that you used to…

This is a good tip. I now bring a bag of grapes with me to work with 100g of grapes in it, purely for the drive home! I usually snack on sweets or chocolate in the car so now I replace with grapes. Its much lower calories and I don't go diving in to the biscuit jar when I get home from work hungry either.

Hey feel free to add me. I struggle daily keeping my food under control but I love my food! I have set my calories at a realisting level and yes some days I only do exercise so I can eat more. Sounds counter-productive but I love the food!!! We can help each other out :)
