I already have one or two added but would love some more if you will please add me!! I've hopped on and off the keto bus a few times, I KNOW it's the right thing for me. After the first week or two I feel so much better and the weight moves down so much easier I just get tempted and slip off the wagon. Would love some Keto…

Anyone tried Callanetics?
The old 80's / early 90's big hair, shiny leotard type VHS / book thing by Callan Pickney? I've heard some good results and am getting a little bored doing the same 30DS and other DVD's I have so am going to try it. I picked it up on Amazon, it's on DVD but it's her original 10 years younger in 10 hours. This is what her…

Your best Avocado recipe?
I've managed to get to the age of 32 yrs and never tried an avodaco lol. Just wondered what everyone's favourite recipe is, or do you just eat them raw? I have no idea what they even taste like lol.

Diet pop (soda)
Do you guys following low carb plans drink diet pop? I just wondered how it effects your plan, if at all. I know it's practically zero calories and no carbs, but do the sweeteners in it effect a low carb plan? Or does the sweetness make you crave sugary things at all (my main worry really). I've never drank loads of it,…

HRM
What is people's recommendation for a heart rate monitor that is available in the UK and won't break the bank? I get that it's usually a case of you get what you pay for, but just looking for something that will help me more accurately track exercise calories. I don't trust MFP at all in calories burned in exercise lol.

Anyone follow Primal?
As in the Marks Daily Apple, primal living? http://www.marksdailyapple.com/definitive-guide-to-the-primal-eating-plan/#axzz2bqseusPq I eat a pretty high carb diet. I've done keto before and quite liked it but I seem to be able to deal better long term with carbs. I'm steadily losing weight at the moment and certainly don't…

I burnt 5,500 calories in one day... my NSV!!!
Sounds excessive right? Well yeah it is. But is was during a charity challenge that I signed up to six months ago. A number of years back I lost my nan to Alzheimers. Anyone who has lost someone to this knows what a terrible disease it is. I support the charity Alzheimers Society and while on their site I saw a link for a…

Is this normal?
Is it normal to get a headache if you don’t eat every 2-3 hours? I get up on a morning usually between 5 and 6am and don’t have my breakfast until I arrive at work just after 8am. And that is fine. But after breakfast and for the rest of the day, if I don’t eat every couple of hours I get a horrible headache. This morning…

What do you set your goals to?
The ones in your food diaries? Just wondering what % you set your fat,, protein and carbs to? I'm aiming to do keto so think it should be 80% fat, 5% carbs and the rest protein. Is that right?

Steady state or HIIT for obese person?
When it comes to burning fat, which is better for someone who is obese and still a long way from healthy? Steady state cardio or HIIT? I’d always thought that HIIT was the way to go and better for losing weight, but I’ve read a couple of articles that say until you are very fit, steady state cardio may be better. As the…

Lunch & breakfast ideas?
I was just wondering what everyone was having for lunch? I have to take my lunch to work with me, but I do have a fridge and the use of a kettle and microwave. I've been having tuna salad and bring a kind of omlette type thing for breakfast (whisked eggs with a splash of cream, bacon bits, topped with cheese and baked in…

Joint bank accounts for couples?
For those of you who are living together / married, do you have shared finances (as in a joint bank account that wages go in to and bills come out of) or do you both have your own accounts and just go halves on the bills? I’ve been in 3 long term relationships and have never had a joint bank account. Me and hubby are about…

Question for lifters
So I recently starting lifting and am loving it. Trying hard to keep adding on the weights. Really pushed it this morning at the gym and really loved it, I am usually pushed for time but have a day off so made the most of it. A little while back I noticed my hands felt sore and have two kind of hard skin blisters on each…

Inspired in the gym.....
So I was in the gym today, I normally only get there evenings and weekends and there are usually a lot of younger people there who work during the day. Today I had a day off (kids sports day this afternoon - he came 3rd in bat and ball race yay! lol) and a lot of elderly people were in the gym. It was the most amazing…

Hi new here!
Well not strictly new but a re-joiner :) I'd love some friends to share this journey with. I am losing weight on a diet supervised by my doctor / dietician. I've lost around 30lbs so far but still have a long way to go. The diet is pretty low calorie and low fat (netting around 1200-1300 calories). I realise this isn't…
