Thank you all so much for your replies. I just had a little walk to try and stretch the muscles out. I had to drop my car at the MOT test centre and was going to get a taxi home but seen as the walk is pretty flat I walked instead. It was 1.8 miles and took me 45 minutes haha. But I think it might help :) Oh and I raised…

I still haven't figured it out. There are just some things I can't have as I can't stop. The longer I go without them the less I want them, but I know from experience, if I give in and think I can just have a small amount, I end up off plan and over eating :( Hope you can figure it out! x

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words! I really appreciate them so much! Hey maybe I should make a deal with myself and commit to doing it again when I reach my goal in another 50lbs and see if it is much easier lol.

LOL, well I did end up with 2 kids so maybe haha!

I've seen the tough mudder! It looks insane lol.

Thank you so much everyone :) I had to laugh at this as my first words once over the finish line were...... "never again"!! lol.

As well as the walking, I want to back up the dancing idea. I can't dance for the life of me, but I love to give it a go lol. Close the curtains, put some funky tunes on and wiggle and dance your way around the house! Great fun, burns some calories and makes you laugh :)

It's ok..... I didn't want to sleep tonight.... I'm such a wuss! :frown: Why did I even look???

As long as it is within your calorie allowance (and you are not on say a keto diet or have a medical issue) then that day should be fine. Or am I missing something??

I know quite a few people who have had great results following 5:2 plan. I tried it but I found it hard to control my non fast days and overate too much on them, surprisingly I had no problem sticking to a 400-500 cal day, it was the 2000 cal days I struggled with!!

Wow!! Amazing, well done. Wishing you well for the rest of your recovery x

You look amazing, what a change! Well done. Oh and congratulations on your up coming wedding, I hope you have a wonderful day x

Oh hun try not to freak out. You just over-did it. Easy done when starting out. Go and have your induction. For my induction, I wasn't doing any great length of time on anything. The basically just showed me how to use everything. 1 minute max on each machine (on slowest setting) and a couple of reps on each weight machine…

It is really annoying isn't it! You have to have read all the small detail to check everything! I have had the special K cracker crisps, only the sweet chilli ones but they are quite nice and you get a good sized portion for just under 100 cals I think. I like the Walkers french fries Worcester sauce ones, 97 cals I think.

Hey, to the OP, if you want to try a keto diet then go for it. I have followed keto on and off for a little while now. Yes, you will have a BIG weight loss in the first week or two, yes this is water and glycogen stores. When you re-introduce carbs you will gain that weight back, that is a fact and can't by avoided. The…

I'm no expert but to the OP, are you breathing properly when squatting? I have a tendancy to just hold my breath when exerting myself and then when I start breathing again I get all dizzy!

I just bought a Nexus 7, I am so trying this next time I am in the gym!! I personally try to just mind my own business while in the gym. Everyone there is making some effort to burn calories, get fit, build muscle, lose weight.... whatever their reasons are. Who cares if they could have a more intense work out by not…

I am just starting to jog and my just turned 7 year old comes out with me sometimes. I don't doubt he has far more energy than me, but I think there energy is different to an adult. He isn't really up for much "jogging". He likes to sprint really fast and then walk a bit. He'll be awesome help for me when I start doing…

This is what I always thought. Protein is protein. I do sometimes have a shake as I don't always eat a lot of meat, and if I am exercising I need a good amount of protein in my diet. Sometimes shakes are just easier and simple and you can also make them in to a yummy smoothie by adding fruit and ice. If I am hungry and…

Thanks for your reply :)

I don't suppose the fat on it would be any more un-healthy than the fat on any other kind of meat. I think it's just because of the sodium it's considered more un-healthy?? I rarely eat bacon to be honest unless I am following a low carb plan, but when I do have it I REALLY enjoy it. Every now and again I demolish a bacon…
