You look wonderful!

I usually season them and pan grill them for 5-6 minutes per side. They are tender and juicy. Now I want pork chops.
-
Haha. I like that!

For what it's worth, I was despairing over a long plateau. I remeasured and found I had lost an inch on my neck, waist and hips. Sometimes your success is not on the scale.

Don't quit just because you are camping. Camping is part of life. Drink lots of water. Your food depends on what kind of camping you are doing. How often you can resupply fruits and veggies, how much cooking will be done. If you are roasting hotdogs over the campfire all week, oh dear! I too, wonder why you stay with a…

I love to bake. Fortunatly I belong to a church that does over the top coffee hours on Sundays after services. So about every two months I get to bake to my hearts content for that. Plus I have grand kids nearby that I can bake for and a husband that can it and not end up with it on his thighs. Still I am careful about…

I bet you are learning a lot about what you put in your body that you had no understanding of before you started journaling. Consider your goal and ask yourself if it is worth the effort. I think it is.
-
Well, this is all very interesting. I would like to follow your progress. Good luck!

That is a very interesting post. I wish you success in overcoming this addiction. I suspect that if we have the courage to examine what triggers overeating, we have a better chance of becoming healthy eaters.

Beef stir-fry with mushrooms, scallions, and carrots over brown rice. Oranges diced with scallions and balsamic vinegrette for a salad. I love to cook.

Good luck. Support is here if you want or need it. There is magic in journaling and encouraging others. You can do this! :drinker: :drinker:

I practice "defensive eating": try hard not to ever get too hungry. Midmorning I often eat a piece of fruit. Midafternoon I eat something more substantial. Maybe peanut butter on Wasa bread, or a hard boiled egg and some fruit. Some protein, some carb and some fat.

Well said!

go to supercook.com; you will find great ideas. I use it all the time to find recipes.

You look amazing! What a big difference.

I have had wonderful results with my back and neck by seeing a licensed massage therapist. It does take time.

I have been a 20 - 22 for so many years and now I am down to a 14 or large. If I lose another 30 lbs I can't imagine what size that will be. When I was a slim young woman I wore a 8 or a 10. I am 5' 1". It really is interesting seeing everyone's replies and how sizes vary.

Right now you need to take care of yourself. Eat what you can, given your nausea. I hope you feel better soon.

One pound a week is ENOUGH! Keep it up, you will succeed!

First of all, it depends on your age! At my age the extra skin does not go away. You have a good change at it. No matter what, isn't extra skin better than the tire? Good Luck!

You really have a lot to deal with right now. Health, work, weight issues. Try not to let it snow ball you. You seem like a positive, upbeat individual. Brush it off again if you can. It is usually the women who say catty things. Interesting that these remarks come from a man.

Me too! I love cats!
-
My cats walk with me. Fortunately we live on a dead end road and they can be free outdoors. If I go out to walk I have to put them in the house to keep them from following me. I have had cats in the past that walk on a leash, but mostly they just want to walk with you. My cats are Siamese, so maybe that makes a difference.…

Exercise and weight loss frequently solve high blood sugar issues. Getting the vitamin D on track will make you feel better. I went throught the whole vitamin D stuff a year ago. Living in the NW where "The bluest skies you NEVER see are in Seattle" my VT D level was 13. It is normal now and I feel wonderful. I believe it…
