  • I'm so happy to see all our numbers going n the right direction! Last Friday: 136.4 Today, afternoon: 136.6 I'm going to weigh again on Friday morning, since I had a couple varying numbers earlier this week. I did measure this AM and lost a half inch in my waist! Very pleased about that. I started back at the group weight…
  • I agree with making your own! I made Strawberry White Chocolate Chip Muffins with Almonds the other day. My calculations came up with 54cal per mini-muffin. I used applesauce instead of oil and split the flour (half white, half whole wheat). I also do the same substitutions for Zucchini Chocolate Chip muffins and they are…
  • My BMR is 1276 but MFP has me eating 1200 plus my exercise calories. Doesn't really add up to me losing much a week at all.
  • I don't necessarily have cheat days but will indulge in a meal or a snack...but 90% of the time I stay within my calorie goal for the day.
  • I have 16 left. My goal is to achieve 120 by Memorial Weekend (48 days away).
  • Cheerios with milk & a sliced banana. 260 Calories :)
  • I've been spinning a couple times a week since the last week of January. It is really an intense workout! I'm usually sweating by the 2nd or 3rd song and winded. I know I'm getting stronger and my endurance is still building, because I cannot do the entire class following all the ups and downs yet. While it's a group…
  • I'm very picky, I like chicken - no red meat, pork or turkey. Just like your husband, I get bored of cooking chicken the same ways and would sometimes rather get take-out or drive-thru instead of having the same thing over and over again. I also am a terrible vegetable eater! I love mashed potatoes, baked potato soup and…
  • LW: 140.8 Tuesday (AM): 138.2 Wednesday (PM weigh in): 139 Again, no consistency...at 4pm this afternoon I weighed 138.2 again. Craziness.
  • I like the Pure Protein Vanilla (100% Whey). I also use (and like) the single serving packets of Designer Whey's Protein to Go Orange Mango flavor. The single servings are perfect for throwing together in between classes at the gym or right before you head home. :)
  • It's so frustrating/confusing to not be consistent on the scale! I sympathize with you ladies who flux often. I was actually afraid of plateauing in the 140s since it's happened so many times before. I had a couple crazy weeks and am slowly trying to get back into routine. This week has been much better with gym visits. My…
  • I actually just pulled up WhenMyBaby, com to see IF I am preg this month, when the due date would be (I do NOT want another Dec baby!). I was at 130 when I got preg with Abigail (April 2008), worked on my feet all day and did not exercise. We moved to ATL while I was 32wks preg but it was then too late to start exercising &…
  • I danced this afternoon with Abigail (my 2yr old) to some song on Dancing with the Stars. It was an older song (90s pop) but lots of fun - and not sure if it was 5mins. Abigail loves dressing up like a princess and dancing when the stars are also dancing. :)
  • I'm terrible about weighing in on Wednesdays! After a 2wk hiatus from working out and tracking calories, I've actually LOST weeight! Weighed in this AM at 138.2 (a 2lb loss from the last mtg with the scale). It feels great to be back at the gym right now!
  • I have no idea! Definitely make sure you eat well before donating and drink lots of water after. I'll be donating soon & never thought about it. :)
  • I got in 7.2mi today! SLOWLY trying to catch-up still.
  • Check out this topic thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/186380-kangaroo-pouch-aka-my-lower-belly Great information on there!
  • I rocked out 9.89mi on the treadmill today. ...still playing catch-up...
  • Congrats on haveing the courage for that first class! I started spinning in February and my lady parts were sore for at least a week but I pushed myself to return even while sore. It gets better! It's def a rewarding class in the calorie burn dept. There are bike shorts with cushion in the crotch (one instructor wears…
  • I'm currently working on my C-Section pooch. Lower calories & healthier choices are helping a lot. I've been trying to incorporate cardio with group toning classes at my gym. I watched Jillian's 6wk 6 pack yesterday and WOW! I think the easy version would kick my booty. One thing Jillian said was you can tone your abs but…
  • I have a really busy week starting tomorrow. An yone interested in a mini-challenge within our 'big' challenge? Sunday to Sunday, who Let me know your thoughts.
  • After a Friday-Wednesday hiatus from the gym, I went yesterday and actually lost 1.2lbs. I've lost a total of 17lbs since starting MFP. CW: 140
  • I got in an additional 4mi yesterday evening, enjoying the beautiful weather! I haven't walked yet today.
  • I managed 6mi on the treadmill...but am very behind. There's been some family issues and I did not work out Friday-Wednesday! Yikes! I'm already plus one for the day. It's SO beautiful out I think I'm going to take my dog for a walk (esp since I'd be stroller-free on this walk!).
  • There seem to be a few hula-hooping classes across the US. When in FL last week I saw an interview with the owner of HoolaMonsters.com. It looks like a lot of fun and another MFP member posted that you can easily make your own for cheap. I used to love hoola-hooping as a kid and think I might give it a try one day...even…
  • I was able to catch up with my miles! During my daughter's naptime I was able to rock out another 4mi with Leslie Sansone. :)
  • I did my 5mi this am - completed before 8am! Woohoo! Still slightly behind though. 36.5 to day (should be 40)
  • Thanks everyone for the feedback. Polar seems to be the most recommended brand. I'm definitely most concerned about MFP or equipment over estimating my calorie burn. I'm not familiar with the chest straps. How noticeable are these under clothing?
  • I totally forgot to weigh in today - my normal weigh in & measurement day is Monday. The scale said 144.2 but I'm not sure if that's a loss or gain from last week since I weighed myself on numerous scales, all saying different weights. I hadn't measured in 2wks but did lose a half inch in both my waist and hips. At least…
  • Totally forgot to post yesterday, and almost forgot today! I'm normally a picky eater but am using this challenge to push myself outside my menu box a bit. I have had to curb a few carb cravings which has made me think about how much bread, chips, crackers, etc I really do eat, even though I had been staying under my…
