I have sympathy for you. I'm a certified athletic trainer (huge difference between personal trainer) and I have my patients who want to get back to sports after anything from an ankle sprain to ACL surgery. They wonder why they can't get back as fast as they want or other people have. I just look at them as say…

big thing people are missing here calorie does NOT equal Calorie (confusing I know). A Calorie is the same as kcal. Capital C and lower case c makes a big difference.

That's really up to the runner. Which do you want more? From there I would be better able to help you rather than create 3 individualized running programs. Message me if you like.

Way to go! Keep up the great work!!!!

I do sometimes. It depends if I'm feeling hungry or not. I might end up eating more the next day and generally consider it a wash.

Sounds pretty good to me. I'd add in a bike or elliptical (depending on pain). You want keep up the PAIN FREE range of motion. Plus it will help keep your cardio up.

2C isn't that bad. As long as you wear the right clothing I tend to run outside until about -10C. Colder than that then my bronchitis will act up and I sound like I've smoked a pack a day for 20+ years
