I am very similar to you. I lost 130 and regained 30. I am so irritated with myself. It seems harder this time around for some reason. It is my eating habits as I still exercise a lot. I enjoy that part. I am trying to go back to the basics that got me to lose the weight before and trying to eat like I did back then. Oh I…

The "No Diet Diet" seems to be about changing habits, seems logical. I have not read any of the diet books that they picked, but I do find interesting. The Clean Momma one was odd with her "taskercising" I am sure with it being reality TV, they don't show everything, but they made it look like that was all she did...no…

I never thought I would be a gym person, no I go 5-6 times a week and miss it when I don't go. I also have gym friends that I socialize with outside of the gym...crazy

Splashy swimmers are a problem and the ones who cause waves to make me feel like I am swimming in open water. I don't know how they do it.

This thread is by far one of my favorites. From what I have figured out American crackers are crisps? Unless I have been reading it wrong all the time and crisps are potato chips? So confusing. We still have relatives in England, but I can't keep up even after spending time with them.

I have the same problem. Right now I am limiting myself to only drinking one night a week, which usually coincides with eating out. I am also telling myself to find one weekend a month that I don't drink alcohol at all. Yes, I am focusing on the alcohol right now, but it is the domino effect and it helps with the food…

People used to tell me that all the time, mainly my family. I think they were just so used to seeing be obese that they weren't used to seeing me at the lower weight. I still need to lose weight, but I haven't had any drastic weight loss in a couple of years, so they are all used to me at this size now I think.

I love cooking shows. MasterChef Junior amazes me when I watch it. To see 8 -12 year olds cook the way they do is amazing. I am watching Top Chef as I type this. It's great too.

I lost 4 pounds in November, gained 6 in December....Glad I was more diligent in November. I was scared to get on the scale, finally did it last night.

This, eat them all!

Multi vitamins were useless for me, Vitamin B-12 and Vitamin D supplements in pill form were useless for me. This is why you need to get a recommendation from a doctor. They can help find the right way to treat a deficiency and make sure it really is working. I had to try multiple ways to get my Vitamin b-12 and Vitamin D…

I got them at a local grocery store

I like Bolthouse Farms Greek Yogurt dressings. Salsa Ranch is my favorite. I generally use vinegar and oil or just salsa, but when I want something more ranch like, I use theirs. They are in the produce section at my grocery store, by all the different lettuces.

I'm sorry, people need to be more understanding of depression. I was/am lucky to have friends that would do anything to help me through it and can now tell when I am sliding. They push me to get the help I need, even when it's not them being able to help me. Can you go to a therapist?

I like those too, I am annoyed with them though....a serving is half a cookie, I am not a half cookie person :#

I don't think I was as down as you sound, but I had the same issue. The people that I talked to about the depression would tell me to get out more. I had the same reaction of just wanting to go home. Then anxiety would hit and I didn't just want to go home, I HAD to go home. I talked to my doctor, tried a couple different…

Generally there shouldn't be any need for vitamins, unless you have been tested. As someone else pointed out, too much of some vitamins can be a problem. My doctor has done blood work on me several times and I have Vit D and Vit B deficiency. It has taken a ton of trial and error to get them worked out.

I started mine at 38, I almost hit the goal weight by 40. (100+ pounds lost) Had the most fun that year! You can do it!

I felt ridiculous the first couple times, but now I am fine with it. Weighted hip thrusters were an adventure for me until I could do enough weight to get under the bar easier

I lost over 100 pounds and my shoe size never changed. It would have been nice, my feet are big and it's sometimes hard to find shoes.

I told a few people that I was working on weight loss when I started, but not acquaintances. Of all the times I thought I would try something to lose weight, I kept it to myself and never followed through. This time (which started 6 years ago), I told a few people and they helped along through all the weight loss and…

I'm 5'10" also and at last weight check, I was 224. Not my lowest or my highest. I am wearing size 12 for the most part right now, a couple of size 10 jeans (but they are stretchy). I stopped telling people my weight, they never believe me anyway.

I love buying new workout clothes...I have way more of it in my closet than work clothes now.
-
My problem time is in the morning, between breakfast and lunch. For the last couple of weeks I have been eating deli turkey, some cheese and a couple of crackers. Not the traditional breakfast food, more lunch, but it is controlling my appetite much better.

I love to bake and I love to give it to others. I do eat some, but not like I used to. This past weekend I baked a ton of cookies for people at work. I also volunteer to bring dessert when there is a pot luck of any sort.

It is a great eye opener. I have lost 100+ pounds and did farmers carries with 50lbs in each hand. It was hard, really hard! No wonder I was always so tired.

I having been cutting my drinking down a lot lately, but I do truly enjoy having a cocktail with friends and/or family. That being said, I have multiple events each week through Christmas and I am planning on picking one each week to drink at instead of all of them. Seems like good compromise. I was just discussing this…

I generally detest going grocery shopping. I love the term trolley as opposed to cart though. Maybe I will start calling it that and I won't despise going so much :). However, like the others, I do like when I have lots of healthy looking food, as I am usually just post workout when I go....makes me feel good to have a…

My skin cleared up when I first started eating healthier, however when I eat a lot (or more than my norm) I tend to break out more.

Other people noticed it for me before I could look at myself and see a difference. We took a family photo and looking at the picture is where I first really looked at myself and noticed it. Luckily my clothes were getting looser and the number on the scale was going down.
