I used to have problems when a group of people in my department would order Chinese or something for lunch. If I just said "no thanks", they thought it was about the weight loss and would give me the "One in a while won't hurt you". When I started saying "no thanks, I brought my lunch", they seemed to be OK with it.

I have an 11 year old Schnauzer. He is my baby and my protector. He loves to watch TV and barks at any other animal, sometimes makes it difficult to watch TV when he is awake.

I joined a gym, gave up soda and stopped eating out for lunch during the week all at the same time. A couple of weeks in, I started logging calories, not here, but by hand in a notebook. I was working with a personal trainer and we tweaked it every week to see what I could do better.

When I was doing my first one, someone had given me tips on the transitions. I am by no means fast, I do it totally for myself...well, my brother and I do it together and my transition times got me the first place finish in the family :)

I have been strength training 2-3 days a week, boxing 2-3 days a week and swimming 1-2 days a week lately. Depends on the week and what I feel like doing most that gets done more. Swimming took over for a little while as I trained for an 1.2 mile open water swim, but that is over, so swimming will be down to 1 day a week…

Me too, the couch is way too inviting once I am home. Space is also an issue, but even if I had more space, I am just not good at working out at home.

I have an absorption problem with B12, I did the injections which got it worked out, but I was horrible about going to get the injection regularly. I now take the vitamin as sublingual drops, it works. Tablets did nothing for me.

I had it done 10 years ago and am so happy I did. My eyes were so dry when I would wear contacts that I couldn't keep them in long, but glasses were also a pain. I agree with all the tall things, mostly for tops, I don't wear long pants for working out very often, so that doesn't usually cause problems. Shirts are almost always too short. I have a large bust, so tank tops that are a little higher cut so the sisters don't try and peek out would be nice

Both of these, I don't even like sweet potatoes as French fries. I also don't care for Kale, I stick with spinach. I have also tried most all fish, just don't enjoy it.

I don't go to the store and do that, but I do farmer's carries and it give me a good idea, I have done 50# in each hand and it was really hard. Amazing to think I used to carry it around with me all the time.

I was floating last weekend, we don't do so well with healthier options either. Our main meal during the float trip was grilled pork tenderloin and fruit this time. The pork tenderloin is good cold, so that has been our meal for the last few years.

I do all sorts of things. I was working out by myself in the gym a lot, so I joined 9Rounds to work out with other people. I still like my alone time at the gym though. It is a nice balance. I also swim 1-2 times a week. That one completely clears my mind

I have done that before too. I forget where I was, but nothing but ice cream sounded good and there were not a lot of great options anyway, so I ordered it. For me, it is better than being completely unsatisfied and then wanting something more.

I lost my first 50 pounds in about 5 months. The 2nd 50 took another 7 months or so. After that it took me about a year to lose 30 more....that was September 2009 - September 2011. In the last couple years I have gained back the 30....it seems so much harder to lose it this time.

my band size went down a lot, but cup size not so much. I lost around 100 pounds and went from a 42G (sometimes H) to a 36G. wish the cup size would go down more.
