Exercise and weight loss helped me a lot with my anxiety and depression, which led me to talk to my doctor about going off of Lexapro. I was in the midst of losing a lot of weight and she said she would rather have me stay on it while I was losing weight as it is very emotional and it did mess with some levels of different…

I am the same way most of the time, I am single so I eat the same thing for dinner most of the week. Fajitas are one of my go to meals also. I love to cook, but I would get bored with it cooking for myself, but I made a resolution to myself that I would try two ne recipes a month. It seems to be working out pretty well.…

I have never liked running and don't do it very often. When I do it is usually a run/walk thing. I feel good when it is over, but I agree, I don't think it is runners high, its more just being happy it was over and I haven't collapsed. I do generally get the great feeling when lifting weights....during and after the…

This is what I do also.

Ice Cream and Beer....not together, but I just never tried on either one.

Eggs, cheese, protein powder. I tried to stay away from protein powder, but I was having trouble getting enough protein also. I don't use it every day, but I do use it quite often.

Haha, that is what I am making for dinner, good thing you aren't the dinner guest.

I have had those days. I think most people do. I try and power through, still go with the plan even though sometimes I don't lift as heavy or run as fast. Hopefully tomorrow it will all be better.

I got that all the time...when my response to the "how did you lose weight?" was I ate less and moved more. Some people would lose interest. They wanted to hear that I did it on a fad diet or took a miracle drug. They don't want to hear that I worked for it. What gets me now, is that after 5 years, people ask me when I am…

It has been more difficult for me, that is why I am trying to lose 20 pounds again. Luckily I didn't fall completely off the wagon and have gotten back on track. I lost 130 pounds and I will never go back there, but I am angry with myself for the 20 that I regained. I think the scale was initially such a good motivator for…

Buffalo Chicken pizza is one of my favorites...BBQ chicken not bad either I love mushrooms, but don't put a canned mushroom on my pizza...those are gross.

September 2009 - I was 38. Wish it was early, but at least it happened. ETA: I decided I wanted to be healthy at 40 - I actually gave myself some time instead of waiting until a month before my birthday.

Best habits are drinking water, I wasn't always good, it was soda or juice. I am also good about working out. I never skip two days in a row and never skip a Monday, I feel like it starts the week off good. Diet will always be my problem, I love food....healthy food, not so healthy food. I also love beer :)

I kinda thought the Ice Bucket Challenge was goofy at first, but it is truly working. I got nominated, I had a bucket of ice water poured over my head, and I donated and I nominated others who have done the same. I could have just donated, but then it would have stopped with me. Also, my niece had a blast pouring ice water…

I've been using Level 1 Ice cream sandwich or chocolate peanut butter cup. I really like both, I am generally not a huge fan of any chocolate powders, but this one I love

I had mine out about 5 years ago, right when I was hitting the 100 pounds lost mark. The doctor told me to watch spicy food and high fat food, but that I may not have any problems. Luckily I haven't had a problem. I ate pretty bland food for the first 2 weeks or so and went back to my normal diet. I love spicy food, so I…

My favorite right now is Endangered Species with cocoa nibs in it, but chocolate potato chip bar sounds awesome!

I have a couple of these right now, the Bat is my favorite, it is 72% with cocoa nibs in it.

Leverage for sure, what awesome characters

I wish this worked

My work did a fitness challenge instead of a weight loss challenge. It was based on how much time you spent doing activities for fitness, with a daily limit of 2 hours. We were on teams (our choice), as them you could encourage others on your team. My team ended up winning, with no cheating, but we were a group of people…

That is a better way to go about it and I usually am training or working towards a fitness goal of some sort. The only time I really need to explain to anyone though is when I skip a happy hour to go work out.

I get this a lot, I lost 130 pounds in a little over a year. I have gained about 20 back a year ago and decided I wanted to re-lose it. The people that were my best cheerleaders no say, "I can't tell you have gained it back, I wouldn't worry about it, you look great" They don't mean any harm, but it drives me crazy. I am…

I don't think I am angry or ashamed. I look back and wish I would have gotten motivated to lose the weight sooner. Mainly because I do more active things now that I missed. I still look at the old pictures for motivations...sometimes when I am down on myself, they remind me of how far I have come and how hard I worked to…

I generally wear the sports bra only and I am a 34G, Wearing two is uncomfortable to me....and hot, I already sweat enough without another layer.

Good Will Hunting and Aladdin are my two favorites, but so many good ones. RIP

I can relate to all of those. I remember riding in the back window of the car when I was a kid or just standing on the back seat as my mom took me to pre-school. Jarts was a staple game at all family gatherings, I don't think anyone was ever injured from them :) Edit: Also during the summer, we were just required to come…

This is how I have looked at it, when someone tells me I inspired them, it makes me proud. That is my favorite compliment. At the same time, I understand the jealousy. Just get back on track.

Spending money on trainer for me was worth it, but I didn't pay that much. I went once a week, he wrote everything down and gave me a plan for a week. That was $55. I guess if I would have gone more than once a week, the fees would add up pretty quickly. The good points to the personal trainer were that he kept me…

I started at 320 and have lost 110 right now, I was down a little lower and I am trying to get back down again. I did it with a lot of exercise and eating less food, no surgery, no special diet or pills. It has been 5 years since I started and I lost most of it in the first year. As for exercise, find something you enjoy.…
