This, I have the last pair of pants that I bought before starting to lose weight. I donated most to Goodwill, anything to get them out of my house so I wouldn't think it was OK to go back, plus I needed room in the closet for new clothes. Buying a new wardrobe in a bigger size is not going to happen!

This, My trainer had to start scheduling rest days on my calendar for me sometimes. If I don't give him my rest day for my weekly plan, he has to write one in.

Have short term goals for yourself with the weightloss, not one long terms huge goal that seems so far away. Also, find other goals that will help you reach the weigthloss....fitness goals, eating more veggies, drinking more water...anything that helps you get to the ultimate goal.

From December 2 until December 27, I gained 5 pounds, not good, but it was the fact that I gained a little before that has me working harder again now. I know what I need to do and will get it off. My workouts are good, I so wish I could out train a bad diet.

I agree with this. I belong to Anytime Fitness also, I haven't noticed it much, but I am usually there when the owner is there. He tends to be there later in the evening though...maybe it happens more in the morning.

Sometimes I am good about logging mine, other times, not so much. If it is an actual serving of veggies or fruit, I add it. If it is veggies cut up into a salad, it's hit or miss for me. Snacking at work during the week and alcohol on the weekends. I try and bring heathy snacks to work, but then people bring in stuff all the time or we have a food day for something. My self control is awful right now.

I think they help mentally. Since you see yourself in the mirror everyday, sometimes it is hard to see the changes. If you have pictures to look back on, it helps you realize how far you have come and how much the hard work has paid off. Do it for yourself!

I have a friend that the only time she calls me is between 5-5:30, I have been going to the gym around this time for over 4 years, stop calling me then. I don't answer it ever!

Ha, this is so me. I am friends with the owner of the gym and I looked at him the other day and asked if he could ask the guy using the rack to leave. I was joking, but man it drives me crazy :) Luckily, my gym is expanding and we will have a second rack soon.

Agree, I still get into "funks" occassionally, but my workouts keep me from being depressed or over anxious about everything. I can have a horrible day at work, I go to the gym, get a good workout in and life seems so much better.

I agree, I have to slow down when I get light headed. I don't want to pass out in the middle of the gym. I have only come close to vomiting once, that was in a class. I do probably work out more often than I should, my trainer has to schedule my days off, or I might not take one.

I'm in the same boat. I had a one one one session the other day, we spent a lot of time trying to get the power clean down. Hopefully I remember everything for the next time I do power cleans.
