Jump rope and burpees are two things that come to mind....I hate them both :) I go to classes to get my cardio in for the most part.

I had laparoscopic surgery to have mine removed in 2010. I think I took a week off work, but probably could have gone back sooner, work requires doctor to sign off after 3 days off and that is when my follow up was. The gas from the surgery was the only problem I had, it was weird that the pain was in my shoulder I can eat…

I don't run much, but walk a lot. I went to a running store to get fitted. It did make a big difference. Foot pain and lower back pain our gone.

That is the one that gets me the worst! Especially if I swim first thing in the morning.

Don't beat yourself up if you have a bad meal, day or few days, just get yourself back on track. Don't eliminate the foods you love, learn how to eat them in moderation. I had a personal trainer when I started and for the first three months he looked at my food diary, about a month in I had a week with pizza and French…

I can't concentrate on tv while on the treadmill either and there are commercials since they don't have my DVR'd shows at the gym.

I do them as a tabata in a circuit. The battle ropes definitely get my heart rate up.

This, I didn't do so well in maintenance...I am now trying to lose again. It seemed easier the last time I lost these pouinds.

I've done 5 I think. The first one I was so worried that I would fail, I trained really hard, but didn't give up my other workouts. I lost some weight, but mostly just ate more because of all the cardio. I did not stop eating more after the triathlon and the triathlon training was over...whoops :)

Monday, Wednesday, Friday - full body strength training with a little cardio Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - 9Rounds kickboxing, which I use mostly for the cardio although there is some strength. Sunday - walk or swim or absolutely nothing

I had the ultimate goal and some smaller ones along the way. I had a lot to lose, so the smaller ones were every 25 pounds. I set up times that I would like them to happen by. It worked really well for me. I rewarded myself with a new grill when I had lost 100 pounds. I had to buy plenty of clothes along the way, that was…

I thought egg roll wrappers and wonton wrappers were the same, just a different size??

I have been working on it for the last month or so. I do high carb on my lifting days, I workout in the evenings. I do lower carb on my less intense workout days. I would think if you workout in the morning that high carb days the day before your workout might work? I don't know though.

One gym I go to is about 2 miles from home and it is between work and home...close either way, the other is 7 miles away, but I only use that for the indoor pool. I did find a class I liked that was a half hour drive away that I was willing to drive to twice a week though.

I am the same, maybe I should try that.

All good advice above! Luckily the pool I go to has 6 lanes for open swim at times, generally there are two people in a lane and we each pick a side. I have no problem switching to circle swimming, but there is one guy who comes in, asks to circle, we do and he decides to stop in the middle of the pool and turn and go the…

Money - more than one gym, plus classes (I feel it is well worth the money though) Calories - beer and BBQ Nachos from my favorite bar

I just moved my schedule to one similar to this. I get up at 6, breakfast at 8:30, snack at 11, lunch 1:30, snack at 4:30, Dinner at 7-7:30. I am rarely hungry with this plan, which seems like a first for me :)

I have two gym memberships...one strictly for the indoor pool. The other one has plenty of free weights, treadmills, ellipticals and Nautilus machines. It's not an overly crowded gym so I don't wait for much of anything. What I would like is a rower and battle ropes (we had, but they started falling apart and they are gone…

I work out after work, I go straight to the gym from work. It used to be I could not go home first or getting out the door was too hard. Now I can go home and I will still go back out, but I prefer to go straight there.

I never thought I would love the fitness aspect of it so much either. When I got sidetracked with my diet, I still worked out regularly. I choose between lifting weights and boxing, sometimes it's a tough choice, I enjoy both so much. If it's nice outside, I throw walking into the mix...choices are good thought.

I was excited to write a testimonial for my trainer, he even used before and after pictures. This was all sent out in a flyer for the gym I belonged to. Funny when people brought it to me at work :)

I know it can be a vicious cycle when you know working out helps with the depression, but you are depressed and don't want to work out. I have dealt with that also. I have kept on the workout routine even when everything else seems to be crappy around me. (Seems to be is the word I have to remember, a lot of times things…

I have wasted some money on running shoes that end up not being comfortable, but I do wear them still...just not to do any real workout in. I have spend a lot of money to lose weight and get fit, I can't think of much that was a complete waste. My gym membership is used a lot and it's pretty cheap at $20/month. My personal…

I have the One also, I have had it for over 3 years and never had a problem with it. I don't know how much it helps me lose weight, but it does make me move so I can get more steps.
-
Sports Bar for sure! Other than that, the gym membership, I just don't work out if I have to do it at home.
-
Eggs...if I can prepare them different ways.

I have all the Ina Garten cook books, they are my favorite for most things. If I am looking to cook healthier, which is most of the time I like the cookbooks by Ellie Krieger. I love cookbooks, although I don't have a lot of room for them.

I have a snack around 3:30 and workout at 5 on my way home from work. If I go home first, there is a 50/50 chance I might not go at all. I get home around 6:30 and eat dinner around 7 depending on how much prep I have and how long the dog gets walked.

I usually have about 5K before I leave the office, but 12K or so by the end of the day after my workouts and dog walks
