  • You will see results either way. I never followed the diet and actually did not eat that great the first month and had pretty good results. So can only imagine the results if I following a health diet. Good luck on the program.
  • I felt the same with the walking half way through I was wondering when am I going to run. But they are warming you up for the 15 min. free form run in week 4. So far the app is working for me. I know it is a bit different than the traditional C25K schedule.
  • The point was not to finish any earlier. I was feeling pretty good, not sore and was looking forward to another run.

  • Yes, they are great. I agree with all the above MFPers. It also inspires me to beat some of my burn and keeps me accountable! I have the Polar FT4, and worth every penny.
  • I too am addicted to soda. I try to drink seltzer. iced tea(no sugar), or even a diet soda(never liked it before but if I am really craving soda, yes). I try to limit myself to 2-3 real sodas a week. It is tough. I use to drink 2-3 a day. If you can fit it in your calorie goals then I say it is ok.GL

  • Red bull is awesome. I say drink it. If it gets you going in the morning or whenever. I am not a big coffee guy either. Didn't know they made monster with zero calories.

  • I agree with jcdoerr. Sorness will be gone in about a week. Not sure if anything else will really help but time itelf to heal. I guess protein would be beneficial to help build muscle and stretching. Same thing happened to me. GL

  • I just started using runtastic. So far I like it. I wish it would seperate my running and other cardio workouts as seperate lines instead of combining them when they post to MFP. I didn't know there was a squat and sit up app in runtastic? I will have to take a look.
  • I too love soda and have for the most part cut back drinking it. I have 2-3 a week now as opposed to 2-3 a day.   • I finish Insanity in about a week and a half and was wondering the same thing. I decided to do C25K just so I can be active and transition into something else. Would love to get Focus T25 since the workouts are 25 min and that would work better in my day but rather not spend the money right now.

  • I do go to Starbucks alot and get an espresso now. Its cheap and almost no calories. Hate spending so much on a coffee or drink a simialr drink. I did use to love Mcdonalds, but have not had any for about 7 weeks. Gotta say I don't miss it that much.
