  • Watch out for sodium in the foods you eat. And drink lots of water! I retain water every single time I eat out cuz they pack that stuff with sodium. Also watch out for pre packaged meals and canned foods.
  • Wow I have to say, Im in my 4th day of TOM and been eating 1500-1700 cals and usually my weight goes up by like a pound or two. But this tiime I actually lost during TOM :noway: This is the first time this has happened! I cant wait to see what happens after TOM! wow I eat more and lose weight?? NO WAY
  • That is a sad reality that we have to obey the rules due to the legality of it. I am 22 years old now and I gained the weight that I am trying to lose now throughout those teen years because I didnt know any better and thought that I just need to not eat and exercise for hours to lose weight which obviously backfired.…
  • LOL THIS ^
  • I plateaud after 13 lbs lost. And it lasted for almost 2 months! I broke it by eating at maintenance calories for a week! Good luck.
  • I cant measure myself as Ive lost my measuring tape! I will measure at the end of the shred. But my current weight now is 116! =) So hopefully Ive lost inches as well.
  • Thank you. Yea I need to look back to 6 months ago and how far Ive come. I always forget that I didnt gain weight in a span of a few months so I know it will take some time. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I just stretch my body and wish I was 2 inches taller and my body fat would spread a bit more LOL.
  • I checked my heart rate every circuit and Im sad to say that level 1 isnt doing it for me anymore. My heart rate goes down after the ab moves at 105 and thats not in my "zone" So I feel like Im getting much of a work out. I hope level 2 changes things up and get my heart rate back up to the 130s.
  • @Rachel I borrowed mine from a friend so I dont have the resistance bands. Can you share me the 12 week program? Cuz I only have the 20 week program.
  • If you're new to strength training, your muscles tend to retain water and thats most likely why you gained a pound. It will go down eventually. Me too! I love the back exercise :) Shoulders are so sore tho, I hope tomorrow I can push through it.
  • I might get the ft4 just cuz its a lil cheaper. :) @lkm111 you should start the HIIT workouts, it is so much fun!
  • My arms are so sore after using 10 lb weights on shoulder raises. Day 7 complete! I think the ab exercises really helped alot with my cramps, I didnt have any at all during TOM =)
  • You need a mat and 3-10 lbs weights depending on your strenght. Its alot of reps so I only use 5 lb on some of the harder moves. I am liking it so far because I am very sore. Lol.
  • I hate it, I modify it to a chair squat instead of side lunge cuz for some reason my left side has bad for with a side lunge lol. I dont know.. I am not sore at all anymore. DAY 6 today for me, I feel level 1 is pretty easy now. Cant wait to move on up. =)
  • Im much more motivated now because of joining this group. Ive always just done bits and pieces in the past. I use 5 lb handweights. I feel like theyre easy on some moves but hard on others (i hate shoulder raises). I have 10 lb weights also and switch it up when its like dumbell curls and dumbell press. Day 4 for me today!…
  • name/nickname: kissxx current weight: 118 goal weight: 110 waist: 26.5 hip: 34 bust: 34 I started 3 days ago! My measurements really hasnt changed from doing cardio alone and I hope this will be the boost that I need. Any others with similar stats? I found that doing level 1, I only burn 134 cals. A little higher on level…
  • I just finished level 1. WIll do level 2 in another 5 minutes. Yea I plan on doing them back to back as I only have time to do it in the mornings. I hope it works. I have done bits of pieces of it in the past but never finished the whole 30 days cuz I got bored. I hope this gives me motivation. =)
  • Oh I didnt say hes for breast surgery. He hates it and doesnt want me to get it at all. He does say theyre only their for looks and he doesnt want to touch them if its fake. Im sorry if I started a misunderstanding. I love him dearly and will take his advice with a grain of salt. Instead of doing my usual insanity workout…
  • I understand the guy's point of view completely. And no I am not on the verge of an eating disorder, I am a registered nurse and have seen real ED in the psychiatric unit. I eat what I want when we're out and even indulge in some alcohol once in a while. I dont think Im "skinny" at all. Im just average weight and I think…
  • Thanks for all the advice! This lifted my mood a little. Weve been together for almost 6 years and his opinion matters to me. I know he loves me and he told me that he'll love me no matter what but I was a little bothered that he didnt like the fact that my breasts are shrinking. He used to be underweight at this weight…
  • when you are closer to your goal. yes it is advised to eat them but if you have fat stores to get energy from, you might not have to. i am very close to my goal so when i go below 1200 net, i plateau and i have to eat maintenance cals to break it so I really think that it is important to eat your calories. just from my…
  • I used to wear size 5/27 from hollister and macys when I was 125-127 lbs. I am 5"2 only tho. I am 6 lbs lighter and wear a size 3 now.

  • Aww so nice to hear that. We can all do it as long as you put effort into it. The biggest lost I had was when I didnt exercise at all, just walked alot due to hospital duty. I focused mainly on diet cuz I couldnt put in the effort to exercise after 12 hour shifts. So yea the biggest part of weight loss is your food intake.…
  • Might as well join in! From 140 to 120 lbs!
  • Thanks! I am thinking of just maintaining for like a month or two and restart after that. I am comfortable with my weight now, I just need to reduce overall body fat which is taking a really long time. I just want to eat maintenance calories already!! I think I got spoiled in my little vacation..
  • yea i thought so too. Im trying to shy away from cardio and do more weight lifting. i heard that insanity doesnt burn as much calories than p90x? is this true?
  • And if it's "shark week" you might benefit from listening to this period mix from no strings attached: http://www.squidoo.com/period-mix
