  • She is going to a different gym to me and her PT has put her on purely cardio for the time being as her weight is a lot more than mine. Its what her trainer advised at the gym. Well not trainer but advisor. Its a womans only gym so its not as populated and has more one to one time with the employees there
  • Thanks all. This has all been helpful. My current calorie intake ive set myself is around 1500. I feel that is sufficient. (a little extra on the days i go gym). I have ordered protein powder so that should help inbetween lunch. Since Saturday, i have made my portions a lot smaller and also to help i drink a glass of water…
  • My biggest issue is eating 3 times a day especially going gym i get hungry and if i wait till i get home i tend to go for stuff i shouldn't and normally i'm good but there has been some slips. I eat a lot of veg and chicken with some white rice. Mornings i have eggs and 1 brown toast no butter, cucumbers and tomatoes along…
  • Well i live in a small place so like you space saving is very important. I appreciate it says 100kg but they usually withstand much more, and i also appreciate i may not see too much use from it, though i assume my partner will. if it lasted up to a year id be more than happy
  • Hi everyone, I don't usually like bumping threads but hoping someone can help with this query :)
  • Miracle noodles also known as bare naked noodles is 8 calories per 100 grams. (can google it its very good). As for the tomoto paste and bits of onion and maybe green peppers etc, it isnt that much in calorie. I guess my stress may have something to do with it. Im recording on MFP now and making sure event he slightest…
  • My only thought is that i may have hit a plateau? And if that is the case, how do you get out of one?
  • We have a blackboard in the kitchen which we update daily.
  • Yeah my doctor told me to keep my calorie intake around 1000-1200. but not to exceed 1200 and preferably to keep it around 1100. My Diary is open now (though i haven't really kept track of anything for a few months, however if you look at my in take around December, its pretty much been the same food i eat. As for last…
  • Yup, everything is weighed with scales. So my intake for the most part is on average the same daily give or take 100 calories depending on the day and how busy its been etc.
  • Thanks for the constructive advice :)
  • Any advice on how i can get back on track would be appreciated :)
  • Same as everyone, i plan to lose around that if not more by xmas :D My target is closer to 25lb. Lets see how we do!
  • My guess? somewhere in the region of 300-400 calories which is more than my usual breakfast lol. Kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it?
  • Indeed however one is promoted by BB.com and the other isnt. Thats why the other is frowned upon. Let me ask you this. which is worse: Option A: A whopper Meal with a diet drink or Option B: Slimfast Shake?
  • How does one work out their natural hourly calorie burn?
  • Hi, Thanks for the response, thats cleared up a few things, also i was able to use this link to get my VO2: http://www.shapesense.com/fitness-exercise/calculators/heart-rate-based-calorie-burn-calculator.aspx which is around 14-15. Based on that and the calculations on the site it self, my calorie burn was almost…
  • I just did an hours power walk. I am a pretty big guy at 117kg. 5'9 - 5'10. 176cm high. My FT4 says i burned 555 calories. Are you saying i should deduct 15% from this total to get a more accurate reading? Sorry was a bit confused... Hope you or someone else can clarify for me. Thanks
  • Sadly you can't multi quote (on iPad anyway) but in future ill not bother searching for threads that are based on the same topic or question. I'll just create a new thread asking the same question and if anyone says anything ill reply in exactly the rude and immature way you 2 just did and be a **** like you both were.…
  • So from what im seeing after all this talk is the following: 1 - Eating healthy is better than shakes 2 - If your late and on the run a shake is good but should never be permanently replaced by real food 3 - If your paying £120 for Shakeology expect to pay another £30 on additives cause on its own you cant drink it and why…
  • How does other supplements compare with Shakeology for example Slim Fast? Its late and is the only one that comes to my mind as readily available without having to blend (which could be a problem for me at work). Any other suggestions outside slim fast and shakelolgy (keep in mind im in the UK and dont like he idea of…
  • Aside from the product being way over priced, do you have to mix it with something? I mean doesn't that almost defeat the purpose? The thing is already over priced and your still having to spend "more" to make it bearable? Just seems add. I thought that you just add water and drink it. I was considering trying the Vanilla…
  • Thank you all for the reply. Will look into both. I am 19kg above the maximum recommended and my partner is 34kg above the max recommended of 100kg. I am hoping they are sturdy enough to carry me and the wife :) Thanks again for the response
  • I wont be rude by asking your weight, but our weight is 119 and 134. Will that be ok for the one you have and also could you please provide a link? Thanks for the response :)
  • That looks fantastic but its in the US. The shipping would cripple me to the UK :/
  • However Fitnesspal say that i should stick to 1720 calories. So im a little confused. the app and site say stick to 1720, the BRM says 2500... which do i follow? Sorry about the silly questions, just really eager to lose weight. And im doing what i can and readn up changing what i can to make sure i do just that.
  • Sorry to jump in but according to this site: http://thefitgirls.com/tdee-calculator.aspx my BMR is 2500. thats an insane number of calories where as my TDEE is 3000. Surely i cant be expected to eat 2.5k calories a day. that just sounds wrong (though its probably right.) I mean 1700 i might be able to magae but 2500 is a…
  • Yeah depending on the weight watcher meal i do have fish. Though for some strange reason i completely omitted veggies this past week. That should help also I am pretty surprised by this. and will take this on-board, thank you
  • Well i guess i could have a slightly bigger lunch or maybe add a low calorie desert after my meal to bump it up a bit. I was always under the impression that the lower your calorie intake (assuming you are consuming your daily protein and stuff) the better. Which is why i am even more confused now cause your essentially…
