  • you are not alone. I have two littles, just turned 4 and 2, and I work full time. It's hard but I have lost 30 pounds and feel SO much better. I still have a little to go. You can do this. Meal planning is a must!! Sounds like you are already active, so now you need to count the calories.

  • taco salads with lots of lettuce, tomato, ff sour cream, taco sauce, and 2 hard taco shells, make the meat with ground turkey. Big salad for low calories. I usually use 3 oz of meat per serving. grilled chicken and roasted veggies. All kinds of low calorie sauces (especially when using only a tablespoon) out there to brush…
  • HI Vanessa, I am not currently struggling with infertility but I have a long history of it. I struggled for several years and finally have two babies (ages 4 and 2) thanks to IVF. Infertility is VERY tough and challenging. It is very mentally and physically challenging. I did exercise on and off through my struggles and I…
  • Thanks! This is what I was thinking and have done in the past, but I have a few friends now who say I should not be eating back my calories. So, wanted to check if my thinking was correct. 7 lbs to goal! although I feel like I may want to go an extra 5 lower than my original goal. :)
  • ipad in the stroller, not pretty but sometimes you need to do what you need to do. or bring the ipad to the "mom" workout area. :)
  • 1/24 --1.8 miles, 1/26 -- 2 miles. Little less than 7 for the week but happy I got three runs in. Slow start but trying to be smart and not overdo and quit!
  • Thanks all! Great ideas. I am lucky to have kids who eat almost every veggie I make. :) They do like the "kid" foods but will eat most things I make. I am big on one meal, I don't cook something special for them. Occasionally they won't eat much of the meal, so we supplement them with cottage cheese or something similar…
  • I have to use the oils, I have lots of fun flavors and my kids eat it...win win! I will cut back on the amount. I've just been counting the number of cups I get after roasting and then dividing the oil by that many servings. It works, I was just curious if other people count oil when used in this manner. thanks all!
  • 1/22 -- 1.4 mile walk, 1.75 run. My commute (walking) to work is 1.4 miles total, 5 days a week so I get 7 with that normally. but want to work on adding another 7 in running.
  • Just found this group, would love to join. Just getting started running again.
  • sounds yummy! thanks! Any idea how many servings/calories, etc?
  • sounds great!
  • interested in answers. I am too trying to get rid of belly.
  • Thanks for all the great ideas. I like to count but don't freak out if I am off by a little. This was just A LOT when counting 6 servings...so, I think I will split the sauce into 12 servings.
  • yay for a post pregnancy board! I have a 2.5 year old and 5 month old. This site is great!
