  • for me - No, but that is because I am allergic to them!
  • a few random facts - I have hyper mobile ligaments on my ankles = broken left ankle twicw & right ankle once ( it now has plate and 9 screws in it) - Suffered over ten years of unexplained infertility before we were able to have our oldest daughter. Her birthday is the reverse of mine 02 08 70 - 08 02 07 - I lost my sense…
  • I might be interested in that although not for a few weeks as schedule is a bit hetic. I'm based in grove park. I do take part in parkrun at avery hill park on saturday mornings - I power walk it so if anyone would like to join me on one of those everyone is really welcoming. [its a timed 5k distance - no cost, they ask…
  • You need to take a step back, deep breath, hold it and then breath out......and relax..... These things take time and dedication, but at the same time you have to be able to breath and live your life. I am a full time working mum to two girls 3 & 5. I also work every third weekend. I am studying for the first two year…
  • I wanted something to track my movements as my weight loss had slowed to almost nothing in the last few months. My job is very variable so I wondered if I wasn't eating enough for what I was doing. This week is my first week and it has added over 500 cals to mfp every day. Planning on checking for another week and then…
  • Starting weight 232 uk size 26. Tops 26/28 if had buttons but I was a 38 L bust! Now 188ish size 14 trousers about 18/20 top. Never worn any adult clothes smaller than 14. Kinda freaks me out a little wondering what size I could wear at goal. I'd be happy in a 12, not convinced hips would allow for anything smaller!
  • I actually go to restuarants and fast food places most days - but its for practical reasons. My daughter travels to work with me for her school, we travel early to avoid the crowds on the trains, It wouldn't be fair to get her up earlier than I do now (she isn't 5 yet!) so we have breakfast once we arrive in london. Our…
  • I think it might be a very personal choice. I opted to wait until l get to goal. I would try getting more support from a sports bra to see if that helps with the pain. Many of us wear a sport bra over a normal one. At my biggest I was close to a 38 L when nursing at 232 lbs I am now down to a 36 JJ but still need extra…
  • I'll have to join in on this thread At my largest the closest bra I could fit was a 38 L and that was "best fit" The underwires sat about 2 inches off my rib cage. I am now in a 36JJ and it fits everywhere it should. I could have has a reduction when I was younger if I lost weight, but as I had not had my family yet, and…
  • my daughter is at the other end of the spetrum. She is borderline under weight all the time. I have to try and give her extra calories, but I try and do it without her knowing as I don't want her to learn bad habbits and then find she has weight problems when she is older as she can't just eat anything. (i add milk, cream…

  • Mine is ..... Toni

  • I bought a fitbit which arrived yesterday, and so far I love it. You can sync it with MFP but it is limited - it addes calories burnt into MFP and MFP sends a sumaary of your food log back to FB. so you know how many calories you have eaten in FB but not a breakdown of them. I've been logging here on MFP for over a year so…

  • I want to as the discs have arrived but I am a complete begineer. I was trying to find out if the weights I have will be ok or if I need different ones I have 1.5, 3 and 5kg and I don't have a chin up bar yet - someone suggested using resistance bands instead, but how to I do the fit test at the start without it or is a…
  • check out the website http://www.parkrun.com/home they will explain it - there are runs outside the uk - even in Camp Bastion - Afganistan! It is a free timed 5K run every Saturday at 9am - you register on the website in advance and you need to print out a bar code which is unique to you, take this with you whenever you…
  • Can I come and join you guys. My P90 x disc s have arrived, I need to get a few bits like resistance bands and cant find my tape measure. To get to this point I have lost just over three stone, I have done a walking half marathon in just over 3.5 hours and gone from wearing uk size 26 trousers to a 14/16. So although I…
  • I power walk and take part in parkrun a weekly timed 5 k and my fast time is 42.20 When I did half marathon + an extra bit (14.6 miles) I did that in 3 hours 35 minutes.
  • Well done, great achievement!
  • Big NSV I think. My copy of P90 x arrived today. I've scared myself reading the quick start guide! Think it will take me a week or two to prepare myself and get all I need ready.
