Grew up 10 miles from Boston. Just have to say, that is wicked Pissah.

Great job. You look fantastic. With your height and frame I would think you would need to lose a lot of muscle to get below 165.

I think you look like Katherine McPhee. She's gorgeous. Great job.

I put butter or cheese on my veggies sometimes. I don't need to because I like them all. But adding a little fat to veggies still doesn't make the calories go too high.

Moms are awesome. They never think of just themselves. Teach your children how to eat. Be the master of your kid's diet and your own. Be an example for your children and if you end up eating what they eat, make sure it is good for you too.

I eat about 10 pounds of vegetables a week. Before introducing all of these vegetables to my meals, I had a hard time eating at a deficit. I have been able to lose 40 pounds so far.

Thanks for this post. My goals include losing weight and maintaining that weight loss. Perhaps there is more that I will need to be aware of while working towards this goal.

I've lost 40 and have about 28 to go. The weight fell off to this point, but the pounds are not comming off like the first 40. I can see I need to make some changes to continue losing weight. I'm 55 and would love some young friends in a similar situation.

I make sure to eat vegetables, proteins and fats before considering other foods. This keeps me full until about 3:00 - 5:00 in the afternoon. I still have calories left and I will eat one more meal in the evening. I won't beat myself up if I get into the peanut butter at night becuase I still like my food choices even if I…

Thanks for posting. My goals with MFP are to lose and maintain, so people who have done that are a real inspiration. I would be curious to hear you talk about what it is like when an extremely overweight person comes to you for help. How do you help that person? Do you have certain things you want to convey when you first…

I think this is a good thing, when you gain weight, your body distributes that extra weight throughout your body. From the pictures, I can see you have lost extra weight in your arms, legs, stomach, chest and face. No need to be concerned about spot losing. You are sitting at cute and on your way to gorgeous. Good job and…

My goal is to lose about 70 pounds and maintain that weight. So, I can't reach my goal until I have mantained a weight for about a year. I have lost 40 pounds and need to make some changes. I try to make changes that I can keep. So changing to lose weight will only get me go my goal weight. If I can't keep the changes, the…

I am looking for more friends. I'm from Virginia.

Magnesium works for me. Spinach is a good source of magnesium and it makes me go. Magnesium tablets are a potent laxative in my system.

Your smile makes me happy. You look great. Good job.

Well done. Congratulations. You are hot. Very inspiring.

I'll send a request. Looking for friends for support.

Thanks for posting. I was looking for a thread about eating at a deficit and lifting weights. I do a little lifting to try to keep my muscles strong. I was advised to lift with my legs to help my cardio and I do notice a difference when I get on the elliptical machine.

I like funny. Will send a request.

This is my second time using this app, have lost 40 pounds. The first time I just ate less of the food that got me fat. This time I changed what I eat and I feel much better. I have 30 pounds to go. I would be happy if you add me.

I'll add you. I'm 230, looking to get to 200. Same amount of weight you are looking to lose.

I lost 36 pounds since Jan 1st. I was in a weight loss challenge with my brothers. We were trying to lose 15% of our body weight. I lost about 13%, so I just missed. I could have gotten to 15% if I wanted to shed a bunch of water weight during the last week, but I would prefer slow and steady weight loss. I did not lose…

I did a weight loss challenge with my brothers that ended last week. We needed to lose 15% of our body weight starting January 1st. Lost 36 pounds which was 13.6%. I could have beat my brother who lost just over 15%, however I would have put several pounds right back on. I didn't want to do that. I'm much happier having a…

Congratulations. You don't have to be exceptional or do anything exceptional for this to work. You have already proved you are capable of losing weight. Just have a plan. Good luck.
