Welcome, It is always good to have the people around you and close to you that will help as it keeps you on track. I am looking to loose 30-35 lbs and cut down on added sugar as well. I will be logging on every day, feel free to add me

I'm in the same boat, as soon as i break my routine it is tough to start again. I have found the best way is to either have someone at home that can keep kicking you in the right direction or have some like minded people on here to help with accountability or motivation
-
Feel free to add me, I am always looking for motivation and like to motivate others. Looking to loose about 25-30lbs

I have just started cutting out foods with added sugar as much as i can and it is tough. I am finding that drinking lots of water helps keep the snacking at bay. Though over the last week i have finally found out what life is like on no sugar and I have lost all energy but that will pass and you will feel better for it.
-
Feel free to add me as well, always looking for people to help the motivation
-
Yep, quite a lot of the time. Just started cutting out as much added sugar as I can and it has taken away my motivation to exercise. what sort of exercise are you trying to do?
-
Thats true, I have always been good in the water luckily so that does keep the snacking at bay and a healthy snack near by. When i know i can learn to control my snacking then I can start reintroducing alcohol and sugar strictly back in. Though processed foods wont be coming back and also limiting takeaways to 1-2 a month…

Morning all, Thanks for keeping this going. My end game is not to give up added sugar and never drink again as I really enjoy both. The reason for going cold turkey at the moment is that I can be easily influenced with alcohol, chocolate/sweets and fast food and when I start I loose control very easily and it picks up…

Cheers for all the support guys and girls, I am on Day 3 now and do feel slightly better though it is still early on in the day. I do agree with the moderation but it quickly gets out of control for me, so i feel like this may be the only way for me to regain control. Just taking each day as it comes at the moment as i…

Feel free to add me, I have a couple of stone to loose and can always do with the motivation :)

Afternoon/Morning all, thanks for all the comments and feedback :). I don't have any medical condition where I have to stop drinking or cut out my sugar but it was something i wanted to give a go to give myself the best chance of success in changing my lifestyle. I do enjoy cooking with raw ingredients so the evening meal…

I just read about that this morning, I don't know how i would work out how much is too much
-
Somerset/London Feel free to add. Just started a new goal so can use all the motivation I can get
-
Go for it, just started up again and want to keep up the momentum this time :)
-
I have a mixed vegetable and fruit juice at lunch and starting to explore more vegetables in the evening meal. I did cut out alcohol earlier in the year for 8 weeks though I ended up substituting that with more sugary foods. How long have you both been off sugar?
-
Just getting back on track with the fitness again and could do with some support
-
Sweet, I have just signed up. Cheers for that. Let the fun begin!

That is a great loss so far, keep up the great work! I have been told on here that 1400 a day is right for me and 2200 does sound high. Just got to balance it out with the exercise as you dont want to do too much and burn out too early as it is really demotivating
