Makes sense, I guess I just have to make sure I put in enough time on those three days to do my routine plus some accessory lifts. I don't know just how new I am to lifting, I did plenty when I was in high school, and have been back in the gym for about a year now. I suppose I'll just have to plan on fine tuning my intake…

Yup, this, epic quantities of this. Shakes are for those days when you need the extra protein but cant bring yourself to eat anything, and even then it's pushing it. Rigger

I couldn't agree more with this. You need to let it roll off, kids are going to do what kids do, in the end, you probably won't have a relationship with many of them five years from now, but your relationship with yourself has to last a lifetime. Rigger

I was planning on hitting a bod pod this weekend to get a baseline. My lifting routine is three days of full body progressive stuff, and I have been doing that for the last six months, I just wanted to add a fourth day for some accessory work in addition to what I already do. So half pound a week is adequate? I figure for…

Why should someone watch an infomercial/propaganda piece intended to sell juicers, and why would you reference that as your proof that it's healthy? That's like me using a Marlboro ad from a magazine as proof that smoking is healthy. Rigger

Counting calories is specific to the individual, while WW is a one size fits all approach. They both work, but regardless of what the folks at WW think, fruits and veggies do count. Count calories, not "points" Rigger

TDEE takes into account your average daily exercise, so you don't eat back exercise calories. For example, my calorie intake on the NEAT method is 1800ish +exercise calories, with TDEE it's 2400ish. It works out to be the same deficit, but I don't starve on rest days and stuff myself on non-rest days. Rigger

I don't need to try jumping off the edge of the Grand Canyon buck naked to know it's a bad idea, plus, I'm rude and I like it that way. :smokin: Rigger

I don't track sodium, because I don't have any medical condition that requires me to do so. I routinely hit 5-7K, it's no big deal. Rigger

Sure, while your at it, you should add pizza to the list of free items, since your just willy nilly deciding what foods do and do not have calories that count. Rigger

I just had a giant brownie, 428 calories, not bad. Rigger

Well, there's your problem, get a food scale and weigh your food, and eat back at least 30-50% of your exercise calories, or switch to TDEE, but either way, weigh your food. Rigger

Temporarily dehydrating an area of your body is just that, temporary, and we're talking about hours, max. If you want to look slim, you have to be slim, and that requires work, not gimmicks. Rigger

Do you weigh all your food? How do you determine calorie burns? Do you eat back exercise calories, and how much? Rigger

100 pounds? What are you, 4'8"? And why can't you cook, are your arms painted on? I started cooking when I was seven, and my parents encouraged it, by eighteen you should be self sufficient enough to make dinner for the family. I'm failing to see the problem here other than you're goal weight is probably unrealistic and…

This, can't go wrong with pork, I smoked two bacon bombs over the weekend, they were epic. As for beef, my two favorite cuts are the ribeye and strip. I also like prime rib, smoked one of those last weekend. Rigger

Weight loss is determined by deficit, how you create one is up to you. Personally, I lift three days a week for about an hour, and I play basketball one day a week, my deficit is largely created in the kitchen. As far as cardio goes, I don't do it, other than my basketball game, but to hit the gym and get on a treadmill?…

Steak, Salmon, Crab, shrimp, I'm doing Swordfish steaks on the grill tonight. It's almost impossible to get bored with all the different animals one can consume. Rigger

I'm glad Joe's infomercial inspired you towards a healthier life, but saddened that you fell for it. Juicing is a no go, sell the juicer and eat the veggies along with all the other foods. Good luck brother. Rigger

I picked up two cans a few weeks ago because they were 60% off. ON is far better, but this stuff will do in a pinch when I need help with the ol' protein macro. Rigger

Thanks for that, Gorilla brain here since I drop the bar when doing max deadlift or cleans, and even sometimes when just doing heavy sets and not PR's. Good thing I don't go to your gym, I might offend you. Rigger

BF scales are inaccurate, and so are online calculators. If you want to be accurate you have to go get it tested. Hydrostatic is the most reliable, but pinch testing is better than some internet based guessing site. Rigger

When you say measured your body fat what do you mean? Rigger

This and this. "Plateau's" are nothing more than an excuse for getting lazy on your routine. Rigger

Love them, Dark, milk, or white. I just can't find them often where I live. Rigger

I don't do gloves, I do clip loose skin from them and I also use chalk and have not had any tear offs. Additionally, I'm very mindful of my grip, ensure that your skin isn't pinching under the bar to the extent that you can. Rigger

I'm in love with my Hoka's, between my wife and I we have four pair. FWIW I run trails primarily. Rigger

Easy, I love good food, and that means I have to cook it, I love to cook and things that come out of a box, or were made and packaged assembly line style simply don't appeal. Rigger
