Umm, okay. You may have gained 25 pounds, but it wasn't all muscle, it wasn't even mostly muscle, maybe 20% of it was muscle, maybe. In any case, calorie deficit, and do cardio. Side note, if you somehow managed to gain 25 pounds of lean mass in such a short period of time, especially without juice, then you need to get…

Everything is good, but since I'm a cheesecake addict I recommend you just skip the meal and go straight to the cheesecake. Rigger

Cut the cardio a bit and do more strength training. Heavy compound lifts. Deadlift, squat, rows, bench, and cleans. Rigger

Seems legit. :noway: OP, don't listen to this fool, just jump right in and start. A SANE, moderate deficit, some lifting, a little cardio and patients, the weight will start to fall off. Rigger

As I type this I'm having a bowl of Lower sugar instant oatmeal. As for protein, yes, as long as you get enough protein you'll be fine. I'm having steak and crab legs for dinner tonight, so I figured I'd be okay with some oatmeal for breakfast today. Rigger

That's easy, don't watch TV, problem solved. Go for a walk, or to the gym, besides, there's not much worth watching on TV anyway, except The Walking Dead. Rigger

Dang, I got sucked in with all the new posts, epic fail. :grumble: Rigger

Surgery, that's about it, and not highly recommended. Otherwise, you could accept that it's going to take some time, knuckle down and hit the weights, that'll shape you up nicely. Rigger

I was in the same boat as you about a month ago. During the recovery period from it I was downing about 2700 a day but still didn't feel up to a quality workout, I still lost weight that week. I wouldn't sweat it, you're body is still working overtime trying to recover. Just don't use this post as an excuse to go way…

Ham, Spinach, and swiss quiche is epic, and fits perfectly. Rigger

There is just so much fail in this post. OP, it makes no difference what time you drink your magic shake, the dent in your wallet remains the same size. Rigger

I agree, lift first, and I would lift more. Rigger

Every day for every meal as long as you maintain a calorie deficit. Rigger

Add some arch supports to your shoes and wrap your ankle with athletic tape. Rigger

This is about the only thing I noticed, everything else looks fine to me. Rigger

Rock on, peanut butter and bananas were made for each other, add pepperoni and throw it all on a pizza and you'll be in Heaven. Rigger

Oh, and this, if you're not fueling both your body, and your workouts, your body will literally eat your muscle mass to get those calories. Again, the body intensely wants to sustain life, and it would rather cannibalize your muscles than stop kidney function, keep in mind your heart is a muscle, and people do die of heart…

Okay OP, lets look at it this way. You eat 1200 calories a day, you burn 900 or so from exercise, that leaves 300 for the rest of your bodies operation for the day. Your brain needs calories in order to function, so do your kidneys, liver, stomach, intestines, glands and on, and on, and on. So, what organs would you choose…

That's overhead press, and yes, you'll feel it in your back as well, those are stabilizers. I agree with the previous poster though, lose the machine and use either a barbell or dumbells. Rigger

I play basketball twice a week in a league, and other sports sporadically. Rigger

Well, I'm currently trying to finish off these last 15 pounds or so. My goal is just overall strength and health. I enjoy sports so power, speed and agility are my goals. I'm a function over form type of guy so I'd rather focus on strength than aesthetics. Right now I have bees alternating between power cleans and clean…

I put my stats into several different calculators and took the average, then used that as my baseline and tweaked it from there based on results and meticulous logging. Rigger

Good thing it was cheap. The included exercise and food journal is what caused those peoples weight loss. A simple piece of neoprene wrapped around your midsection won't do anything for you other than cause you to sweat. You'd get better results wearing a dry suit under your clothes. Rigger

If you're primarily going to be walking I wouldn't spend the coin on running shoes, for trails I would get something with good support though. As for the treadmill, any old pair of comfortable athletic shoes will do. Now, if you think you might want to start running, and don't mind the price tag a good pair of trail shoes…

It doesn't sound like you love the gym at all if you have a hard time dragging yourself in there. If you loved the gym you would look forward to it. It's not for everyone, and nothing says you have to have a gym membership to be in shape. If there's something else you would rather do then do it. Personally, I pine for…

The difference is about $150. Running shoes get expensive in a hurry, they take a lot more abuse. A person can walk comfortably in any old shoe. What kind of exercise are you looking to do? Rigger

By the end of the week you'll still be under maintenance, so you'll still lose weight so long as you just get back to business tomorrow. You may be up a pound or so tomorrow, and maybe the day after, but it's just water and waste weight, you won't actually gain weight, it's just temporary. Rigger
