It takes me 3 weeks of doing something extremely consistently for my body to adjust. If you are consistent and can get through the beginning, it will take less for you to feel full. I agree with the less-empty carbs suggestions too. Good luck!!!

I just searched for late night cravings and found this post. Count me in! I often catch myself counting calories for the first 2/3 of my day, then estimating the rest in my head. Nice work!!! When I started running a few years ago (only ~20 lbs overweight, but pretty out of shape), I could only run (very slowly) for 30 seconds at a time. I just told myself it was okay to walk if I needed to. It only took a month of switching between running/walking until I was able to run 3 miles without stopping!…
