  • i love the arc trainer! :)
  • When my son was younger I tried to workout around his naps or took him with me on my runs (I have a jogging stroller). Now he's 21 months old and his naps are shorter and he doesn't like being in the jogger so I wake up early and workout before he gets up. I did p90x, online workouts and the elliptical. Right now, I do…
  • Most of my weight definitely comes from my legs! Then my tummy.
  • 6" turkey on wheat with no cheese, no mayo.. ALL the veggies and salt and pepper. YUM!!
  • Hubby knows my weight but if I ask him what he thinks I am he always guesses less! Either he's stroking my ego or I look it.. guess I'm big boned too! HAHA!
  • Both can be challenging for me but the hardest would be the diet. I love all types of food and looooove to eat! I love to exercise.. the hardest part for me about exercise is just putting my shoes on.. once i'm exercising it's smooth sailing.
  • liver and okra. yuck!
  • i'm 5'3 and would like to be 125-130. we'll see how i feel when i get there. best of luck to you!
  • ME! My form of cardio has always been using the elliptical because I'm not much of a runner. I like to run now but still use the elliptical (and other methods of cardio) for weight loss. Using weights helps alot too. Best wishes!
  • i had thai last week and got the chicken pad thai.. it was so yummy. i ate only half the portion.. but you could opt for something with less carbs and lots of veggies. enjoy!

  • I make mines with fat free/less sodium chicken broth instead of water. I add a little extra broth to make the rice more fluffy. I also add parsley to it.. Taste great!
  • I would probably do something fairly light.. I only have 8 lbs weights and I feel those are too heavy for some of the moves on level 2 and 3.. Best wishes to you.
  • 1. Run in a 10k 2. Run a 5k in 25 mins 3. Do 2 or more pull-ups with no assistance! 4. Reach my goal weight and maintain it.
  • Family of 3 plus a dog & we spend on average $125-$150 a week on groceries & toiletries.
  • that's awesome! good for you! ab ripper x is no joke. i hate the reverse bicycles! great nsv!
  • I'm working on mine.. and through time it does get better! Just keep working out and eat healthy and you'll see results. I have many friends who have children that have great bodies. It is possible. If they can do it, we can too! Best wishes!
  • Me! Me! Me! (raises hand) I've been slacking so much lately and I have about 1 month until my Hawaii vacation! Time to get serious! We can do it ladies! I'm here for support so feel free to add me! Mom of a 13 m/o baby boy.
  • Bump, great info.. I plan to get a boob job eventually. The more I get in shape the smaller they get. :grumble: I will most likely wait until after I have all my kids but love all the information.
  • thanks everyone! think i need to up the weight i use during squats and lunges. i do lots of reps right now because i'm not using very heavy weights. and i will definitely look into the brazilian dvd. thank you!
  • UGH haaaate my cellutlite! i was told it will never go away but that there are creams to help minimize them. If you find a solution, please share! I would love to get rid of mines too!
  • BUMP! I need answers too! I think my main problem is that I lack the self control to know when to stop. I often find myself going for a "snack" (mostly at night are my weakest times) only to realize later I just binged then beat myself up about it. So I start off "comfort" eating only to feel extremely uncomfortable and…
  • I lost 26 lbs using mfp. No diet pills just multivitamins. Logged my food everyday, healthy or not (but of course I tried to stick to healthy choices) and I worked out 6 days a week at home. Logging my food really put into perspective just how much I was eating and how outrageous my portions were. Good luck to you!
  • As a mother myself, it's heart breaking to know she is getting away with murdering her daughter! Where is the justice for poor Caylee? It's shocking that she was found not guilty.. goes to show it doesn't matter if you did it or not.. it matters what you can prove in court.. THIS IS SO UPSETTING!
  • Nice to see weight goals of others who are also 5'3". Like most of you, my goal is 130. When I get there I will reevaluate whether or not I should continue to lose more.. Ultimately, I probably won't stop until I get to 125 but we'll see! Good luck to everyone!
  • Great thread! My goals for today is: 1) Drink a large glass of water before breakfast 2) Drink a large glass of water after breakfast 3) Run at least 3 miles 4) Make healthy choices while out today with my family
  • I'm 5'3" and want to lose 15-20 more lbs!
  • i'm 5'3", 146 lbs & wear a size 9, tight 7. my starting weight after pregnancy was 172lbs and i wore a 13! i think it really depends on your body and build. everyone's different so don't worry. My goal is to be a size 5. Last time I was a 5 I weighed 130 but we'll see now that I have mommy hips, I may need to shoot for…
  • Plyometrics is definitely a challenge but it will get easier but will never be easy! I like yoga but not for an hour and half so I will usually do about 45 mins of it or sub it with a different dvd. I really like Core Synergistics and Cardio X. Best wishes! yghbv

  • I wake up at 6 am and at minimum do 30-45 mins on the elliptical (at home) and if my one year old is still sleeping which in most cases he is i will also do p90x which is about another 30-45 mins. Sometimes if I don't get to get all my workout done in the morning I finish it up during my son's naptime.
