Yes, look at my ticker.. lost all of that in under 10 months just using MFP to track calories and working out 3 days a week. fad diets never worked for me, because they were just that.. a fad.

This. believe me when i did the C25K running 60 seconds i thought i was going to die, once i realized i needed to slow down it got easier, finishing that program was a big achievement, and i dont like running, i now run 5k 2-3x a week.

As a gift to myself I bought a new harley shirt in an XL, wearing it today, haven't wore an XL in over 20 years, couldn't believe it fit when I put it on.

It's a weird feeling when I think about it, I still at times have it in my head I'm that size, like when I go out to eat and I wonder how tight the booth will be, then sit down and realize I have plenty of room.

Thanks everyone, even being at work today on overtime can't dampen my mood today :)

So far it's not too bad, I feel like once I get into weight training more it won't be a huge issue. I may have my stomach skin removed if it bothers me when I hit my goal.

One thing that's funny, people I haven't seen in a while like at work, either don't recognize me, or do a double take :p

To correctly measure your waist, stand and place a tape measure around your middle, just above your hipbones. Measure your waist just after you breathe out.

My experience was that when i started MFP my energy level was kinda low, but i think after a month or two i was use to the change in food intake and my energy came back. my body was use to taking in around 4000-4500 calories and i cut that in half.
-
Thanks I had a space in the folder name and that's why it never worked

I don't think it matters what you eat, if you have fat on your stomache you don't want, you just have to lose more weight period, you can't pick where you lose it. Other then that do ab exercises to maybe tone your abs. I couldn't get your link to work.

My opinion is since you're eating a low amount to start just make sure you eat most of the calories burned back, I've found if I don't my weight loss will stall and I'll feel like crap, might not be that day, but after a while I would just have no energy.
-
My experience has been that if I don't eat some back when I burn a lot, my weight loss will stall out. So I eat some back now.

i'm usually listening to a podcast to keep my mind off my run, and i'll be thinking about whatever they're talking about.

I eat a banana every day with breakfast.. i dont think i've gained weight..

walk, look at it and it should show you the correct amount of steps. it can be calibrated too.

I am the independent source, i've used many different machines, apps, and HRMs. The HRM's are pretty close in the numbers after a workout, probably a variance of 20-30 calories at most doing the same workout on a treadmill, while the machines readings would vary by as much as 150 less. my home elliptical has a chest strap…

Guessing no..
