  • I get that feeling when im dehydrated, are you taking in enough fluids?
  • i'd recommend eating as close to that 1200 as you can, and make sure you're eating a lot of protein. the weight will come off. from what i've see personally, when i go way under my caloric goal for a stretch my weight loss will stall, i found this out last fall when i was working out and not eating any of those calories…
  • I dont understand people posting asking about what diet works on myfitnesspal.com... Youre posting on a site that WORKS, just use myfitnesspal, you're already here!
  • The guys i work with or know that are naturally thin, eat everything and anything they want. where i look at a slice of pizza and i'll gain 5lbs.
  • DDP YOGA http://ddpyoga.com/
  • i drink at least an entire half gallon at work, sometimes a gallon on hot days. its better then drinking the equivalent in soda, sometimes i'll drink half gallon of crystal light, second half of water, but i get tired of drinking plain water. crystal light and the off brands are 40 calories/half gallon i'll take it.
  • i look at a cookie dough quest bar 21g of protein snack, and it tastes better then any others i've had. protein is essential when losing weight unless you want to lose lean muscle
  • I think if you dont see weight loss for 4-6 weeks, you're doing something wrong.
  • I dont use my fitbit anymore, after using it every day i know how many steps i take average, it didnt change much from day to day. and the calorie burn isnt as accurate as a HRM. I use my Polar F7 every workout and it's been the best investment i've made.
  • ^Winner i like most of the quest bars except maybe the peanut butter one.
  • This is what i bought too. I do a ton of research on almost everything i buy online, and this was no exception. for the price i dont think it can be beat.

  • I was on one, but it didnt seem very active, you could start one and ask people here to join it. just create it, lay down some ground rules.
  • seems like just basic body weight exercises would be best for you since you like parkour, maybe learning some kettle bell exercises would be good too, they're great for full body and core strength.
  • it's all in what you eat. my wife had gastric sleeve surgery and her doctor had her on a 600 calorie diet following which consisted of mostly protein. they wanted her on that for the first year. if i had elected for the surgery it wouldve been the same thing.
  • The HRM is the best way to go (i love my Polar F7) with my elliptical it has a HRM with chest strap, but when i dont use that, it actually UNDERestimates my caloric burn.
  • Thats tough to do, you would really have to stick with eating healthy and working out right to do that. and NO off days from doing either.
  • To me it depends on your weight. for me i dont tend to eat my excersice calories back unless i feel like crap or if i have a deficit over 1000 calories. my starting calories are 2100 so if im at 1100 or under i'll eat more.
  • They wont be the first to lose fat, you''re body will lose fat all over, but you'll notice (at least i did) more loss in your stomache and chest mainly because thats where most of mine is, i didnt have a lot of arm/leg. measure yourself every other week or once a month and you'll see your waist shrink fastest.
  • my guess would be water weight gain from working out, if it doesnt change in 2 weeks i'd think something else is the culprit.
  • i started on september 8th of last year, i lost about 30lbs the first month, 50lbs by the end of the year had a couple set backs with thanksgiving and 2 vacations, but got right back on the horse. I've had a couple setbacks this year so far, mainly parties, weddings, superbowl, but i keep going afterword and not staying…
  • What started my motivation was that my wife had weight loss surgery and after seeing how hard that was, and knowing i had to lose weight I decided to give it one last go on my own without surgery, i had done every fad diet and failed because they arent realistic for me to do the rest of my life and be happy, i had gone to…
  • I like Fiber One Chocolate and honey squares, both 80 cal/serv
  • i dont drink often, but when i do i dont count calories. i drink what i like and get back on track the next day. if i were to worry about calories when i drink though i would go with a vodka tonic or something along that line. last i checked belvedere vodka was the lowest in calories, and tasty
  • i use to have mine set at light active, because i figure its better to underestimate my calorie requirements then over calculate. on days i work and workout i would be at very active, on my days off im damn near sedentary so i just leave it at light activity. i'd suggest leaving it a step lower then you would think and…
  • i noticed it too with apps on my phone like Couch to 5k, and the mapmyfitness apps, i also use the FT7 and highly recommend it. i never workout without it now.
  • judging by their ticker, they started 84lbs above their goal. I started about 134lbs above my goal and didnt really notice anything until 30lbs.
  • it was the exact same for me, when i hit 30 i could tell some difference mainly from phots of myself and the way my clothes fit. now the way i notice is mainly by size changes in my clothes. i dont see a big difference in myself, but i've been told by a lot of people that they see a big difference.
  • I went through this a couple months after i started doing MFP, turned out i was over exercising and under eating, i took a couple weeks off from working out and just focused on eating my calories and i got my energy and motivation back. that being said, if you continue have issues being tired that dont go away, id suggest…
  • Stretch marks come from stretching the skin faster then it would normally grow. so i would think the only way you'd get new stretch marks would maybe be from the skin stretching in a new direction due to size or shape changes while sill having fat with hanging skin, im not really sure, personally i haven't noticed any new…
