I do a lot of these things. ^_^ Mostly, I sleep with four stuffed animals (slowly turning into five) and I bring them everywhere. Just recently I went to perform a sleep apnea test and my stuffies had to come into the room with me. But I do imagine characters from my favortie TV show or movie is around me and we go on…

My father had recently been doing a weight loss program through his doctor. The person in charge told my dad that as long as you didn't have a source of sugar just before bed you're good. Sugar right before bed turns into more fat than if you just had fat all day long. I also personally believe (though many would argue…

I'm doing this all by the way I feel. I know I am overweight and I don't like it. I never have and I doubt I ever will. My appearance is a factor in this because I see the way people look at me and I don't like it. I also have Major Depression and much of that is based on the way I look. I don't like being this way and I…

Do you have a myth about eating sugar after 7 pm actually makes you gain more fat? Or even sugar from a healthy source leads to less fat than an unhealthy source (example: apple vs chocolate)? Just curious is all.

Thanks everyone! I means so much to have so many people commenting and agreeing with me! For those who mentioned my mental health, I've been diagnosed with Major Depression. For the longest time, I thought that my weight caused the depression. But then someone told me the depression may also be causing my weight. Evil…

Many people say different things. When I was on Weight Watchers, I was told conflicting information as well. When you eat your exercise calories you may still loose weight. When you don't eat, you may end up loosing more weight than before. I guess it comes down to whatever you prefer. If you like the extra calories, have…

give your body time to adjust... There are a few people out there who won't lose right away. Just keep plugging away at it and soon you'll be seeing the results you want. Think positivly about the fact that you made the step to join here and start counting. That is great news! I hope that this upcoming week works out…

I've read 8 glasses of 8 oz of water.... Which is the 64 oz of water... I find that that is the most constant number out there. Trying to have 150 oz of water or even 200 oz of water sounds like you might get water poisoning cause all you'd be doing all day is drinking! I'd stick to around 64 oz of water, that's what I'm…

Thanks! I will try both ideas. I really appreciate the help.

If you go under 1200 calories you body drops into starvation mode and collects all the calories and turns it into fat, so dropping lower won't help. I'm not sure what you're eating so I can't be of much help. Sometimes a slight diet change maybe needed or maybe you need to change your walking into jogging.

There is good sugar and bad sugar. Most fruits have good sugars and nearly anything that has been processed by humans tends to have bad sugar. I don't really know more than that. I'd suggest looking up sugar information or talking to a doctor or nutritionist for better information.

Sometimes your body gets too used to a certain routine and will seem to stall or slow down. Try changing something like adding an extra exercise or changing to a different style snack. Just switch it up every now and then. That may help.
