YIKES! Let's rewind ... You said: "sometimes questions people post have me thinking why your even on here? this is a website to help you eat healthier and support along the way not to help you decide on a doughnut!" Please remember this question is posted in "Chit Chat Fun and Games" People on here network, socialize, and…

If you're running 21-40 miles a week (with multiple runs up to 10 miles) this half is going to not even be an issue at 13.1 miles.

Hmm ... Main: Suticase Secondary: Lamp ... but it's a mid-sized stainless steel base/post ... so it actually looks pretty good! Suitcase ain't going to help much ... OH! but I could use it for a shield ... and lock myself in if I get in a really bad position!

You're heart, lungs, and body are already thanking you! ... but that little one in your arms is the best :) Congrats, you clearly can see a great difference! ...

As far as the splints: shoes, fit, running style, genetics ... But I would imagine that if you were running 4-10 hours a week you were not new to any of these suggestions. I never really had issues ... sometimes they would come on, but not too bad (or often) ... the more the weight came off the less I had them too.

And by all means if you are looking for running friends on here add me if you're interested ... my profile is open ... also I'm on (and recommend) a place to track your runs ... I use runkeeper and highly recommend it ... great website (and app if you have a smartphone) ... ~Matt

Hmm ... if I can recall I questioned why on earth anyone would would run for fun about 3-4 weeks into the program ... also due to the soreness and pain accompanied with such a crazy thing. It was SO much more comfortable on the couch with my beer and pizza rolls ... About week 5-6 I recall driving home from work having…

Well, I do like to treat myself now and then, but rarely do donuts make the cut! ... If they did however, chocolate glazed yeast donut ... those cake donuts should be banned from donut world btw ...

You people are gross ... I just washed mine after my run last night! Sheesh! (though it was the first time I ever washed it and it was this thread that caused me to do so) Ha! :) ~Matt

At times I get frustrated and discouraged (in general, not at MFP) but that's just part of how it goes. Some weeks I run like a madman, watch my calories, sodium, and nothing ... some weeks I think I did worse, and I lose ... it's a marathon, not a sprint ... I just focus on me, and my journey, and just try to stay on…

I disagree with you <> I hate you ... it may mean that for some, not me. In 3 months this ADD country will be on to the next big drama ... no worries ...

Breadwinecheese ... is it ok that I fit it into one word? ;)

I was literally ticked off at myself for treating my body like a garbage can. This was a gift, as was my wife and kids, and I was being selfish, lazy, and pathetic hiding behind "I just love food" ... I may not run fast, I may not be some hot guy at the gym, but I'm healthy ... I may get hit by a truck crossing the road,…

I love bread ... and always will. Though I just try to be smart about it. I'm going to tangent here for a moment and just say that if you haven't tried (and you may not even be interested) to look into making your own bread. While I enjoy making things in the oven too, I'm actually talking about a bread machine (so quick…
