Your hard work has paid off! You should be proud.

Way to go! You're looking good!

Wowzers! You look great. And I'm glad to hear your getting healthier. :drinker:
-
I couldn't be happier for you! Awesome job!
-
Awesome! Glad I took the time to read it.

Yup. There are a handful of tricks that will help you to end the day satisfied and at a calorie deficit. But (in my opinion) it's all about ending the day/week at a calorie deficit.
-
Update: test came back normal, I can now say I have taken care of *all* of my known/suspected health issues.
-
Sometimes the body confuses 'hungry' with 'thirsty'. Drinking water when you think you're hungry (but are actually thirsty) sometimes works.
-
Great read. Great success. Thank you for sharing.
-
'Momily' was one of my main inspirations. 60 pounds kept off! And thank you all again for your kind comments.
-
I know what you did last summer.
-
Wow. Incredible. How long did that take you?
-
Eccleston is fantastic. But Rose was the main character during many episodes and he left too early.
-
You look beautiful. No need to lose it all in one year. Keep up the hard work and positive attitude and you'll get there.
-
Can't really get to the gym that often, I just do a lot of push-ups, pull-ups and hand weights for strength training.
-
Yup. I get this all the time. There's no real money in 'eat less, move more', so there's no charismatic spokespeople saying it over and over.
-
One more thing: I was averaging about 1,500 calories most of the days. I certainly wasn't starving. Just keeping it up day in and day out. Thanks for all the responses. I wish everyone the best in their fitness journey.

So hard for me to compare new to old. One had a budget. Favorite episodes: The Family (new). Curse of the Fenric (old) Favorite companion: Rori (new). Ace (old) Favorite doctor: Tennant (new). 1st Doctor (old) Favorite villain: Angels (new). Davros (old)

Thanks. You look pretty good yourself.

Yeah, that's always a tricky thing to get across to a family member/loved one. But I thank my sister that she managed to get it through to me so that I could get healthier.
-
Inspiring results.
-
Thanks. The first hundred days or so was all diet. Now I work out since the weight loss isn't coming as easy and I want to make sure I'm not losing muscle.
-
I was actually having success with some pretty ladies during my heaviest. That may have fed into the denial that nothing's wrong. Thank you all for your kind words of support. They really mean a lot to me.
-
Your hard work has clearly paid off! You look great.
-
This was totally me. I was in major denial that I was ever 295 pounds. I always visualized I was more like 250. That made it harder to see early weight loss as a success (because the total was still over what I thought it should be).
-
Lol. I know, right. Mentally I know this wasn't one of my biggest milestones, but it certainly feels like it is. Getting good sleep really changes a day for the better.
-
Another 'before' Thanks all! And yeah, getting rid of the health issues was my greatest joy. (Though they were all pretty tied to weight).
-
Same, it's me from when I played football in high school.

Veggies are pretty guiltless.. carrots, snap peas, celery.
