  • Congratulations on starting your journey! Sleep apnea is no joke! My dad had severe sleep apnea for YEARS that he never took serious... until 1.5 years ago when he had to have emergency heart surgery for an aortic dissection. We found his condition by accident and it is so scary to think how close I was to losing my father…
  • For the peeps that have both the old and new-- is the new one different enough to justify buying both? I have old Power 90 and I really love it. I thought about getting the new one, but don't want to spend that kind of money for the same exercises in a different order, ya know?
  • Lean Circuit 3 today and... I DIDN'T hate it! Actually, this was my favorite of the 3 in this phase. Maybe it was the lack of lamé workout clothing? Getting used to the new faces? I love shoulders and chest. All those push-ups/planks was rough, but I can see myself enjoying this 3 more times.
  • Fell of the wagon for a week (actually illness turned into laziness), but picked up where I left off with Burn Intervals today. Man, that workout is hard when you take a week off, but I felt so good when I was done. 3.5 weeks to go, committed to finish this!
  • Yes please! Glad to have someone else in the thread. Don't let my whining deter you, Burn and Push are awesome!
  • Lean Circuit 2. I don't feel PTSD today. Just pissed. We spent the last 2 months treating core as an afterthought, and now she wants to do all these one-legged, plank position lifts?! I feel like toddler trying to take their first steps. You'd never know I've been busting my petunia the last 2 months at this! I did enjoy…
  • Ya'll, I just finished Lean Circuit 1 and I feel like I have PTSD. I did not like it. :'( From the second Chalean came out in the gold spandex tank top I was just like, where am I!? Who are all these strangers?! Why is everything so slow?! Are my arms even going to work tomorrow? I felt like I was flailing my way through…
  • I might be the only one left here but I start Lean tomorrow and I'm so excited because it is the first time I've made it to this month! Brand new workouts, woop!
  • Omg, Burn Intervals is my best jam. I am so pumped by the end that I feel like I could tackle a mac truck. Great taste in videos!
  • As soon as my husband walked in the door from work I was all up in his face like, "BABE! BABE! LOOKiT MY ARM!"
  • YOU GUYS! I SAW A BICEP TODAY. It was real and it was there! I was flexing a little, and I saw it move! Still need to burn a ton of fat off it, but somewhere down there, there IS a bicep!! (Push circuit 1: Week 3 today if anyone else is still on this wagon)
  • I like this idea better, because I want to hear about your experiences with TurboFire since it might be next on my list. Thanks for sticking around!
  • <3 PUSH <3 Pretty much all I have to say about that. Circuit 1 week 1. I am really going to savor this month!
  • Definitely love-to-hate bowler's lunges. I love pretty much all squats, especially standard squats deep and heavy, except for the ones with calf lifts. I also LOVE the long arm pullover in Push 3- it was a brand new exercise for me. I've always loved a good chest fly, and I feel the long arm pullover even deeper.
  • I work with 6-8 girls and they have started a Chobani cult. They all eat their Cho's at the same time. If more than one person has the same flavor, than that is declared the Flavor of the Day. They throw tasting parties for new release flavors. When we interview potential hires, they ask them about their greek yogurt…
  • I already know I L-O-V-E Push because that's how far I made it last time before I dropped off-- all the way to the last cardio day! Still kicking myself for not continuing to Lean! I just try to do all the sumo positions the best I can. I'm sure one day I'll have nice open hips again. I have regular dumbells 3, 5, 8, 10,…
  • How are we doing, friends? Just started week 2 yesterday. I am glad I decided to schedule it so that I do not rest on the weekends, definitely helped keep me more accountable. I am already going up in weight on some of the moves, too! I feel like I am going to max out on my dumbbells a lot quicker this time than the first…
  • Yay, Burn Circuit I done! I am so not going to be able to walk tomorrow. I forgot how long these sets are in Burn! My brain was still in Push mode-- picked up weights waaay too heavy for 12 reps. I remembered to print the worksheets and log my weight/reps for all of the exercises. I didn't do that the first time and I…
  • I am starting today! I did not want any of my rest days to fall on the weekend because I have a bad problem with slacking on those days. This will be my second time starting CLX, I made it through Push but just lost all motivation before I started Lean. I plan on getting ALL the way through this time. I loved it so much, I…
  • Thank you, I needed a Voice of Reason!
  • Man, I thought I wanted to try Turbo Fire or a TF/CLX hybrid next, but now I really want PiYo! It is so hard to resist ordering RIGHT NOW but I am determined to finish CLX clean all of the way through. One more Push circuit and then the Lean month to go!
  • I am still in Push! For a few more days, anyway. I have been crazy hungry this month, to the point that I kind of gave up on logging for a while and just fed myself what I felt like I needed-- same healthy foods, not junk, but larger portions. I found that snacking more helped. I usually try to go 3-4 hours between…
  • I hate long cardio workouts but I can do Intervals all day. Just when I start to hate it, time to switch it up! Probably why Jillian's 30DD/BFBM/NMTZ videos were my true loves for a long time. The only part of Burn Intervals that I loathe is the sumo burpees, but what person in their right mind enjoys a burpee??
  • Glad I found this group/thread! I am on my last week of Push and am so excited to get to Lean (next Wednesday I believe). I've never finished a long program like this all the way through (which is especially sad since most of them say the last phase/month is where the big changes happen) and I am determined that CLX will…
  • I whole-heartedly agree with you. The first time I tried to eat steamed broccoli I barely coughed 2 florets down in between giant gulps of water. But I kept making myself choke it down and little by little, it wasn't so bad (I mean, like, over the course of months). Now it is my go-to vegetable. Here are some ideas that…
  • A full French baguette with 1/3 lb of brie for me, please. And a 4 pack of bakery cupcakes.
  • Could you try adding 1-2 small snacks throughout the day to get your calories up instead of trying to make one of your big meals even bigger? +1 on the peanut butter and avocado. Another poster in another thread recommended eating chicken WITH skin and I thought that was an easy fix. I wouldn't have thought about a higher…

  • I have a 45 minute commute in the mornings, so I feel you on the need for quick breakfasts. I usually just have a bowl of cereal and half a banana. Sometimes a bowl of oatmeal or a muffin for a change. For lunches, to be budget friendly, I usually just take a smaller portion of whatever I cooked for dinner last night. If…
  • You can replace oil and part of the butter with Greek yogurt. Chobani has a replacement chart on their website in the "Kitchen" section. When I want a light desert, I like angel food cake with fruit or fat-free chocolate pudding with a little reddi-whip. A scoop of low-fat chocolate ice cream with fruit and chopped nuts is…
