I just want to eat foods in there most natural state. I am a food addict and I gravitate to sugar, fat and salt. eating the way I have I dont eat a whole back for hershey kisses. This is just what I need to do to keep me on track. Like I said in my post I do it because it works for me.

My natural sugar part is fruits with sugar in them. I dont avoid fruit.

I am losing the weight to be able to protect and take care of my family. I never wanted to be someone that needed someone to help me and if I dont get healthy I see that happening. I am down my first 20lbs I have 80 more to go. Its a journey where the road will have ups and downs. Take it 1 day at a time 1 meal at a time if you have to. Its a way of life and be in it for the long haul. Dont hate yourself if you slip and fall. Pick yourself up and move on.

My goal has been to eat all natural foods. Nothing processed nothing with added sugar. I also eat at a deficit. I have lost 20lbs since Feb 23rd. I do workout most days. I think the all natural foods has given me lots of energy to workout.

between meals when I start to get hungry I eat string cheese or 15 almonds. Also an apple with peanut butter is good. I find that protein is the key to getting rid of the hunger. Add scrambled eggs in the morning takes 1 minute to cook. or cottage cheese or both.

i have an extra snack of 15 almonds and fruit or cheese and fruit. I do not eat my calories. I dont trust that my 60 minute hike actually burned 750 calories. But I am trying to lose a lot of weight. If I was maintaining or gaining I would eat my calories

I dont see that I have given anything up I have just added things like, all natural foods and walking. 10lbs down in 17 days and I feel great. Long way to go so staying positive.

find something you enjoy doing for your exercise. Like zumba or walking with a friend or for me its walking and an at home crossfit workout with my son. Thats a great motivator. When your doing something you like to do its easier to do.
